The next Ward 2 Crime Watch committee meeting with Ward 2 Councillor Ira Novoselsky and local residents will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 6 PM at the Hyman Tower Community Room, 50 Walnut Avenue.  At this meeting, Officer Ken Bruker will discuss the evaluation and installation of Closed Circuit Video Camera (CCTV) systems for homes.

Another Crime Watch meeting is scheduled for July in the Garfield neighborhood.  As soon as the date in firmed up, Councilor Novoselsky will let the neighbors know the time, date and location.


A Neighborhood meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16 at the Revere Police Station Community Room, 400 Revere Beach Parkway, at 7 PM to discuss a proposal for mixed use development on the old Shaw’s site on the Revere Beach Parkway across from the Suffolk Downs barn area.

The Wednesday date is primarily for Ward 1 residents and the Thursday date is for Ward 2 residents, but is open to any folks who cannot make it on either one of the two dates.  There will be a presentation by the developers with an open question and answer period.
