Diane Rose DeSantis

She Will Be Missed for Her Beautiful Love of Life and Her Smile

Diane Rose DeSantis, 78, passed away on Oct 20 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 19, 1945 to her parents, John and Micalina DeSantis and she is survived by her two children: John DeSantis and Paul DeSantis; daughters-in-law, Lisa DeSantis and Robin  DeSantis; grandchildren:  Gia DeSantis , Bianca DeSantis, Jay DeSantis, Robert DeSantis, Connor DeSantis, Dante DeSantis and Sarah DeSantis as well as six great grandchildren.

Diane will be missed by all for her beautiful love of life and smile. She was known to her family and friends as Lady Di.

Jeanne Nazzaro

Graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1968

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, October 31st in the Immaculate Conception Church for Jeanne M. Nazzaro, 73, who died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 25th. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Jeanne was born in Winthrop on April 26, 1950 and raised and educated in East Boston and Revere. She was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1968. All of Jeanne’s working career was spent in the insurance industry. She worked for MetLife for 20 years as an insurance rater. She then took a position with Aetna Insurance where she spent the next 20 years before retiring.

Jeanne was totally devoted to her parents all her life, until their passing. She enjoyed traveling with her family and loved watching sports, especially her Boston teams. Jeanne was an excellent shopper and enjoyed finding good deals when she was out. Most of all, she enjoyed being home, watching her favorite shows and reading.

She was the devoted and beloved daughter of the late Edward M. Nazzaro, Sr. and Margaret “Tootsie”(Sacco) Nazzaro; loving sister of Edward M. Nazzaro, Jr. and his wife, Carmen Luisa of Revere. She is also lovingly survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please have a mass celebrated in Jeanne’s memory and keep her in your prayers. ?

Michael Harrington

Lifelong Revere Resident

Michael P. Harrington, 52, a lifelong resident of Revere, passed away unexpectedly on September 29. Michael graduated from Pope John XXIII High School in Everett and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Michael suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury over 15 years ago. Prior to his disability, Michael worked for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Michael loved to laugh, enjoyed being with family and eating authentic Italian meals. He cherished spending time with friends and family and celebrating life with others.

The son of the late Josephine and Edward Harrington, he is survived by his son, Michael P. Harrington Jr. He is also survived by his sisters and family: Erin and Paul Yates, Shawna Harrington, Maura Harrington and Manuel Rivera; nephews: Aidan Yates, Sebastian Yates, Joseph Flaherty Jr. and Paul Yates and by many aunts, uncles and cousins who lovingly supported him throughout his life and especially after his parents’ passing.

A Memorial Funeral Mass celebrating Michael’s life will be held at St Anthony’s Church, 250 Revere St, Revere on Wednesday, November 22nd at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
