Endorses Dan Rizzo for Senate

Dear Editor:

Dan Rizzo is the only candidate running for State Senate who has fought for working class people in Revere and the District. The last time Revere and the district had a working class Senator working for them was former Senator Fran Doris more than 30 years ago. In fact, that was the last time someone from Revere was elected to Senator.

Now more than ever, we need to come together as a City and elect a Senator who will fight for the people of Revere and the district, someone who cares about Revere and the district. Unlike any other candidate running for State Senate, Dan Rizzo is the only person who fought for Veterans. He is the only candidate who fought for fuel assistance for our seniors, who has fought the MWRA and EPA to lower the cost of your water and sewer bills.

It’s been more than 30 years since Revere has had a working class senator represent them on Beacon Hill.

Isn’t it time we elect someone who is a working class guy from Revere instead of some elitist Beacon Hill lawyer who will forget about us after the election?

I am voting for Dan Rizzo for State Senate because he is for Revere and the working class people of the district.

Rizzo thanks supporters

Dear Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who attended our campaign event last Wednesday night at Casa Lucia (in spite of the torrential rainfall!).  The enthusiasm, willingness to help, and dedication to making Revere, and in this case, our entire Senatorial district a better place to live and work has never appeared stronger!  Thank you so much!  I look forward to working with each and every one of you toward a successful April 12th election.  Feel free to get involved by either contacting us at [email protected] , visiting danrizzo.org , or finding us on Facebook at Rizzo for Senate.

Supports Joyce Kelly for re-election

Dear Editor:

As a member of the Revere Republican City Committee, I am proud to support our committee’s chairwoman, Joyce Kelly, for

re-election to the Republican State Committee. She founded our committee and is not only the chairwoman but also the secretary. She has worked tirelessly to keep a vibrant and viable committee functioning at great odds due to the dearth of

Republicans in Revere. The Republican State Committee has a great role to play in formulating policies that our state elected officials can support. As an example, Joyce is fighting to stop Common Core Education that is another step in turning

our schools over to the politburo in Washington that is called the Department of Education thereby further removing the ability of the parents in our communities to have input in our local schools. Massachusetts already has MCAS, which has been judged the best standardized testing program in the country.

The election is on March 1st. and Joyce’s name will appear on the Massachusetts Presidential Primary Ballot. Many people do not bother to vote in primary elections. It is imperative that every republican gets out to vote for Joyce Kelly. She deserves to be re-elected to the Republican State Committee.
