Since City Clerk John Henry announced he will be retiring soon, there has been a great deal of speculation about who will be replacing him when he finally leaves.
As of today, no one appears to have the votes necessary to win the position, although Attorney Larry Simeone seems to come the closest.
Betting is that a candidate will literally come out of the woodwork and be acceptable to the city councillors, who will vote that person in.
However, that person hasn’t shown himself or herself yet.
