Ann T. (O’Brien) Collins of Alabama, formerly of Everett and Revere, died on November 10 and fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on November 9. She was 88 years old.
Born in Everett on October 21, 1923 to James and Mary (Cook) O’Brien, she graduated from Everett High School and later volunteered with the USO during World War II. After her marriage, she moved to Revere where she resided for 36 years. She worked for electronics manufacturers Transitron and Teradyne before joining the Massachusetts Parole Board as head secretary. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Ladies Sodality, was an avid dancer and an enthusiastic Red Sox fan. In 1984, Mrs. Collins moved to Huntsville, AL where her daughter’s family resided.
She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Collins and the cherished mother of Carol A. Blalock, fiancé of John R. Chapman, Jr. and James K. Collins and his wife, Francie; dearest grandmother of Kristin A. Treadway and her husband, Jeff, Brian M. Collins and his wife, Emily, Daniel R. Collins and his wife, Liz, Patrick J. D. Collins and his wife, Cindy, and Michael K. Collins; dearest great-grandmother of Logan Treadway, Ashtin Treadway, Liam Collins, Jack Collins, Max Collins, Riley Collins, Finn Collins, and Sean Collins. Mrs. Collins is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, John, James, and Walter O’Brien, her sister, Genevieve Johnson, and son-in-law Fletcher Blalock.
A memorial service was conducted in the chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens in Huntsville, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Evelyn H. (DeYeso) Bresnahan of Revere died on November 13 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility of Peabody following a long illness. She was 93 years old.
Mrs. Bresnahan was born and raised in Boston’s North End and came to Revere as a little girl. She remained a resident of Revere for the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1935 and worked for the former Forbes Lithograph, American Optical and Everlastic Co.
She was the widow of the late John Damore and John J. Bresnahan; devoted mother of Glenn J. Bresnahan and his fiancée, Mary Ann Mazzaferro of Revere and Ipswich and the late Dawn B. Santosuosso; the dear mother in law of Ronald A. Santosuosso of Revere and Las Vegas, Nevada and the sister of the late Edward E., William G. and Florence E. DeYeso. She is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visiting hours in the Vertuccio & Smith Home For Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere will be Thursday, November 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. Her Funeral will be conducted from the Funeral Home on Friday, November 18 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in st. A member of the Revere Women’s Club and the Immaculata Guild, she was a former Eucharistic Minister at Immaculate Conception Church for many years.
She was the beloved wife of the late James T.; devoted mother of Sharon Ranno of Florida and the late Doreen O’Donnell; dear sister of John Ranery of Nevada and the late Joseph Ranieri; cherished grandmother of Nicole Davis and her husband, Spencer, James O’Donnell and his wife, Shannon and Mary Margaret Zablocki. Richard A. “Dick” Churchill, Sr., a longtime resident of Revere, formerly of Everett, died unexpectedly on November 10 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. He was 65 years old.
Born in Chelsea, he was the son of the late Samuel P. and Ethel M. (Garland) Churchill of Everett. He grew up in Everett, attended the local schools and graduated from Everett Vocational in 1965. He went on to acquire his electrical license through the union’s educational advancement program. He was a retired electrician of the I.B.E.W. Union Local #103.
He was the beloved husband of Lorraine A. (DeMaria) Churchill, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage; devoted and loving father of Richard A. Churchill, Jr. of Revere and Leanne M. Churchill of Peabody; dear brother of Donald of Wilmington, Robert of Peabody, Winston of New Hampshire, Eleanor McMurrer of Haverhill, Elizabeth Sheehan, D. Maria, Jean Smith, all of Malden and is also lovingly survived by one granddaughter, Alana G. Churchill.

Elaine M. (White) Leach of Harvest, Alabama, formerly of Revere and Cambridge, died on November 6 following a yearlong battle with lung cancer. She was 67 years old.
She was born in Everett, raised in Revere and lived in Cambridge and Dracut before moving to Harvest, Alabama in 2001. She was a dance instructor and founded the “Elegant Rounds Dance Group” which she directed and managed for more than 18 years. She was also a member of the OSHA Lifetime Learning Instructors at the University of Huntsville, Alabama.
She was the beloved wife of George C. Leach, devoted mother of Dawn M. Stone and her husband, Rob of Hollis, NH and Lori A. Lavoie of Lowell; cherished grandmother of Sage M. Stone, Daniel R. and Sophia M. Leach and is also lovingly survived by Curtis E. Leach and his wife, Iryna of Las Vegas, NV., Robert M. Leach and his wife, Teresa and Judith A. Beryl E. Countie died November 10 in Exeter, NH. She was 81 years old.
Born May 18, 1930 in Revere, the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth (Haydock) Haltom, she grew up in Revere and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Revere. She worked as an executive assistant for several companies in the Greater Boston Area.
She married Charles F. Countie in 1963 and they moved to Exeter, NH in 1973 where she was a communicant of St. Michael Church of Exeter.
She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and always increasing her knowledge through articles and current events. She was a fantastic mother and grandmother to her family and will be sadly missed.
Her husband died in 2009 and she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth M. and her husband, Jeffrey Johnson of Exeter, NH and Nancy M. and her husband, Peter Terwilliger of Brentwood, NH; her son, Christopher J. and his wife, Holly Countie of Nashua, NH; five grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Cohan of Beverly and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of Revere until moving to Middleton six years ago. For more than 35 years, she had a career with New England Te. & Tel (Verizon) beginning as a telephone operator and then becoming involved with the computer division in a managerial position. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Revere Orioles nest 123 and the Revere Soccorosso Club.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Angelone who died in August of 2001 and with whom she shared 45 years of marriage; devoted mother of Joseph M. Jr. and his wife, Diane of Lakeville, MA, Philip A. and his wife, Linda of Middleton and Andrew A. and his wife, Kerri of Saugus; cherished grandmother of Crystle Greland and her husband, Richard of Ipswich, Alexandra and Brandon Angelone, both of Saugus and Marissa Angelone of Middleton; dear sister of Pauline Terranova and her husband, William, Mary Alvino and her husband, Robert, Gloria Torre and Marvie Procopio, all of Revere, Albert Procopio of Medford, Andrew J. Trustee Emerita of Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church
Nancy A. (Ordeshook) Mongiello of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, apparently in good health, passed away unexpectedly on November 3 while visiting family in Pennsylvania. She was 91 years old.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Kiprian and Mary (Melnick) Ordeshook. She attended Chelsea public schools and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1939. Her family was among the original families to build and found her beloved Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church on Addison Street in Chelsea, where she was a Trustee Emerita. She was an active council member, belonged to the church choir and was a member of the Woman’s Guild. She was also very active at the Chelsea Senior Center.
She moved to Revere in 1985 and retired as a quality insurance inspector, having worked at the Pfizer American Optical Eye Glass Co. Division for 25 years.
She was the wife of the late Angelo J. Mongiello; beloved mother of John A. Mongiello Sr. and his wife, Andrea M. of Revere; sister of the late Charles Ordeshook, Mathew Ordeshook, Peter Ordeshook, Stanley Ordess, Michael Odess and Frances Orluck and is also lovingly survived by two grandchildren, Angela M. Riehl and her husband, Steven J. of Pennsylvania and John A. Mongiello Jr. of Chelsea; three great-grandchildren, Mary Kate, Emily Anastasia and Rachael Marie Riehl of Pennsylvania. She was the loving friend of Everaldo X Aguilar of Chelsea, whom she considered a grandson.
Funeral arrangements were by the William R. Carafa & Son Home For Funerals, Chelsea. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 110 Washington Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150.
