Frank Fancieullo

General Electric Retiree

Frank A. Fancieullo, 91, of Everett passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19.

Frank was a graduate of Bentley University, a former 37 year employee at General Electric Aircraft Engine Group in Lynn, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of the National Association of Atomic Veterans.

Born in Boston to the late Carmine and Merenda (Volpe) Fancieullo, he was the beloved husband of Mary (Viola) with whom he would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in September.

He was the devoted father of Frank C. of Everett, Lisa M. and her husband, Frank Iula of Stoneham and Sandra A. of Medford; loving Papa of Mary and Robert Iula.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, May 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral will be at the funeral home on Thursday, at 8:45 a.m.  followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church,  250 Revere St., Revere at 10 a.m.  Services will conclude with U. S. Army Military Honors at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend

Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours today, Wednesday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Mary T. (Lombardi) Cavarretta who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19th. She was 96 years old. A Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home at 12 noon followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Born in Boston,) she was the daughter of Joseph and Assunta (Pompei) Lombardi.

She was raised and educated in the Hyde Park – Readville area of Boston and was married to Frank J. Cavarretta for 50 years prior to his passing in December of 2000.

Mary was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary had a passion for shopping and a sharp eye for fashion, always looking impeccable and polished.

She was a resident of Revere for 40 years before taking residence in Burlington almost 10 years ago.

The beloved wife of the late Frank J. Cavarretta, she was the devoted mother of Vincent F. Cavarretta and his wife, Linda of Malden and Joseph J. Cavarretta and his wife, Lisa of Watertown; cherished grandmother of Nicholas Rafaelle Cavarretta and Jesse Francis Cavarretta, both of Watertown; dear sister of the late Frank Lombardi, Nancy Borofsky, John Lombardi, Rico Lombardi, Ann DiMattio, and Viola Lazarovich. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Debbie Crasco

Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend and Free Spirit

Family and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, May 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Vertuccio, Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Debbie L. (Hale) Crasco of Revere, who passed away on Thursday May 18, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, after a long illness. She was 58 years old.

Debbie was born in Janesville, WI., on September 7, 1964, the daughter of the late Jerreo R. and Charlene (Hanson) Hale. She was raised and educated in Antioch, California and has been a resident of Revere for the past 28 years.

Debbie was employed by the MBTA where she worked as a bus driver for over five years.

She enjoyed music and going to rock and roll concerts. Debbie was known as a free spirit; she loved to travel and take road trips on her motorcycle. Debbie was compassionate and caring, she had a passion for animals, especially her cats. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of Donald C. Crasco with whom she shared 30 years of marriage; cherished mother of Daniel and Billy Grace and the late Joshua Grace; sister of Darrin Hale, Dennis Daniel, Donald Fowler, Terrill Stephens and the late Doug Hale; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, 10 Chandler St., Boston, MA 02116.

Charles Marino

Retired Chelsea Police Officer And 55-Year Owner and Operator of New England Crane Service in Everett

Charles “Charlie” A. Marino passed away Monday morning, May 22 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by the comfort and love of his family.  He was 80 years old.

Born in Chelsea, the son of the late Louis and Frances (LaRosa) Marino, Charlie attended school in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1960.  He attended classes at Bunker Hill Community College but soon enlisted in the US Army on January 29, 1960.  He was honorably discharged on February 4, 1963.  Charlie was the late owner and operator of New England Crane Service in Everett.  He owned the company for 55 years before retirement.  Charlie was also a police officer for the Chelsea Police Department, dedicating 15 years of service before retiring.  During his retirement, Charlie enjoyed playing golf.  He recently took up woodworking and enjoyed spending time in his garage working on projects.  Charlie was a longtime Chelsea resident and recently moved back into the area after having lived in Saugus for the past several years.  Charlie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The beloved husband of Elaine M. (Sasso) of Chelsea and the father of Deborah Lochiatto of Peabody and Dina Pagliuca of Wakefield, he was the brother of the late Stephen Marino and Salvatore F. Marino, brother-in-law of Robert Sasso and cherished Papa of Jonathan, Kristina, Anthony and Michael; Stepfather of Charles and Richard Henry.  He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. 

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Charlie’s visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Saturday, May 27 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 12 Noon.  Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Steven W. Paradis

He Will Be Missed Beyond Words

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, May 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Steven W. Paradis, 61, who died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20th  when he was stricken at his home, later passing at the CHA – Everett Hospital. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, May 26th  beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a Graveside Service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Steve was born on April 18, 1962 in Chelsea to his late parents, John and Ann M. (Dion) Paradis. He was raised in Chelsea with his five brothers. Steve was educated in both St. Rose of Lima Parochial School and Chelsea Public Schools and attended Chelsea High School. Steve spent his entire working career working in a field that he was most passionate about, landscaping.

For many years, he worked on Hanscom Airforce Base as a groundskeeper. Due to his diligent and prideful work, this led him to personally maintain several of the General’s homes and other officers as well. Steven later left and began working at Holy Cross Cemetery. He often would help his family and friends design both landscape and hardscape projects.

Steve married his love and best friend Michele “Mickey” (Burley) on May 6, 1988,

and recently they celebrated their 35th  wedding anniversary, having been together for over 40 years. Steve was a man who loved his family, cherishing his children and grandchildren. He was a truly home body with his best pal “Tommy” by his side. He was a longtime member of the 52 Club in Chelsea.

The beloved husband of Michele M. “Mickey” (Burley) Paradis of Chelsea,

formerly of Revere, he was the loving father of Stephanie A. Paradis of Everett, Devon M. Paradis of Revere and Steven W. Paradis and his fiancé, Makary Vath of Revere; cherished grandfather of Carlos, Mackie Joe and Jax; dear brother of Kevin Paradis, John Paradis, Mark Paradis and the late Richard and James Paradis. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and he will be missed beyond words.

Lorraine M. (Arsenault) DeCristoforo passed away on May 16, following a brief illness, at 97 years.

She was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late Domenic J. DeCristoforo. Loving mother of Richard J. DeCristoforo & wife, Marie of Revere, Robert J. DeCristoforo & late wife, Lydia of Derby, KS & Marie A. Bucci & husband, Peter of Revere. Cherished grandmother of Diana J. Finn & husband, Thomas of Peabody, Daniel J. DeCristoforo & wife, Stephanie of Danvers, Sarah DeCristoforo of CA & Elizabeth DeCristoforo of KS. Adored great-grandmother of Emma, Daniela DeCristoforo, Vivian R. Finn & Maggie Finn. Dear sister of Earle Arsenault, Cleone Harvey, Paul Arsenault, Velma Levesque & the late Melvin Arsenault, Norma Woodman & Clarence Arsenault.
