James Politano Sr.

He Lived a Tough Life, Stayed Strong and Never Lost His Sense of Humor

It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of James Michael Politano, Sr. on March 9 due to natural causes and surrounded by love.

Jimmie was born in Revere on June 14, 1949 to Joseph and Angelina Politano. After graduating from Revere High School, he worked as a carpenter. Jimmie was a long time resident of Revere where he had many friends and family. He is survived by his siblings: Elaine, Joseph and Pasquale; his children: Jamie, Jill and Nealey; grandchildren: Paisly, James, and Jacob; great grandchildren: Sincere and Alayna; great nephews: James and Elias and many nieces, nephews, cousins and, of course, friends.

Jimmie was always happy, kind, generous and fun to be around. He loved to talk to everyone. He enjoyed old westerns and anything with Steven Seagal. Jimmie loved to laugh, and laugh loud. He loved being outside, especially the beach, namely Revere Beach where his ashes will be spread by friends and family in place of a funeral. He lived a tough life, stayed strong through it all and never lost his sense of humor.

May he rest peacefully.
