All of Revere’s elementary schools will be walking to school on May 1st as part of the state’s Walk to School Day. Below is a listing of meet-up places for each school.
•A.C. Whelan School
Walkers from Washington Ave will meet at St. Mary’s Church at 7:20 a.m. and will depart at 7:25.a.m.
Walkers from Sargent Street will meet at the corner of Sargent and Griffin Street at 7:25 a.m. and will depart at 7:30 a.m.
•Beachmont School
Walkers will meet at the corner of Dolphin and Atlantic Ave at 7:40 a.m. and depart at 7:45 a.m.
•Garfield School
Walkers from Shirley Avenue will meet at Costa Park at 7:45 a.m. depart at 7:45 a.m. Walkers from Franklin Ave will meet at the corner of Franklin and Thornton at 7:40 a.m. and depart at 7:50 a.m.
•Lincoln School
Walkers from Malden Street will meet at the corner of Malden and Conant at 8 a.m. and depart at 8:05 a.m.
Walkers from Broadway will meet at the corner of Broadway and Proctor Ave at 8 a.m. and depart at 8:05 a.m.
•McKinley School
Walkers from Winthrop Ave will meet at the Immaculate Conception Church at 7:30 a.m. and depart at 7:35 a.m. Walkers from Park Ave will meet at the corner of Park and Jarvis Street at 7:30 a.m. and depart at 7:35 a.m.
•Paul Revere School
Walkers will meet at St. Anthony’s Church at 7:35 a.m. and depart at 7:40 a.m.
