The Revere High volleyball team dropped its season opener to Beverly last week in three closely contested sets, 25-19, 25-16, and 25-21.
“This is a young group of girls and many of them played JV last year, so varsity is new to them,†said RHS head coach Kim Hudd. “They worked really hard and once we get more experience and our positioning down, we should do great things this season.â€
The Lady Patriots’ next match will be at the local gym against Lynn Classical today (Wednesday) and then a contest at Salem on Friday.
