Two Pioneer Charter School of Science (PCSS) students, Juan Velez Mesa, of Revere, and Trey Parrish, of Everett, will be attending Harvard College as members of the prestigious Ivy League school’s incoming Class of 2027.
Velez Mesa, 18, has declared Computer Science and Mathematics as his major. PCSSI faculty and administration have expressed their pride and congratulations for the two students as they prepare for what is next in their bright futures.
Parris, who grew up in Everett where the school is located, will enter Harvard with plans to major in Psychology. Parrish is excited about his next adventure. He notes that his family is equally ecstatic and attributes much of this accomplishment to PCSS’s supportive staff and administration.
