Henry Nazzaro

Longtime Wonderland Park Employee of Saugus, formerly of Revere and East Boston, died on December 25.

An employee of Wonderland Park for more than 50 years, he was the beloved husband of the late Irma (Lanzetta) Nazzaro with whom he shared 48 years of marriage; loving father of Susan Urrata and her husband, Giovanni of Wakefield and Mark Nazzaro and his wife, Donna of Peabody; dear brother of Joseph Nazzaro of Peabody and Robert Nazzaro and his wife, Marie of Saugus; cherished grandfather of Joseph and Jessica Urrata and Mark Jr. and David Nazzaro; brother-in-law of Nina Lanzetta and Ann Yardumian, both of Stoneham and Alfred Lo Re of Braintree.

Lores (Neri) Keating, a lifelong resident of Chelsea, died on December 21. She was 89 years old.

A retired shoe industry employee for 30 years, she was the wife of the late Edward T. Keating; beloved mother of Linda L. Finnegan of Chelsea, Thomas E. Keating and his wife, Lee A. of Tewksbury; mother-in-law of the late Joseph J. Finnegan; dear sister of Rose Ryan of Chelsea, Rita Yannetti of Yarmouth, Raymond Neri of Chelsea and the late Alice Deleidi, twins Prima Wheeler and Seconda Neri, Wanda Pezzuto and Elsie Bizzocchi. She is also lovingly survived by five grandchildren, Thomas E. Keating of Chelmsford, Christopher T. Keating, John J. Keating, both of Lowell, Merredith Keating of Tewksbury and Patrick J. Finnegan of Chelsea and three great-grandchildren, Caroline Keating, Griffin Keating, both of Chelmsford, Leah St. Croix Finnegan of Revere.

Ina W. (Mitchell) Ritarossi of Melrose, formerly of (Beachmont) Revere, died on December 22.

The beloved wife of the late Paul P. Ritarossi, she was the loving mother of Paula A. DiStefano and her children, Matthew and Mitchell, all of Malden and cherished mother of James P. Ritarossi and his wife, Kim of Wilmington; dear sister of Faye Wingiener of Missouri and the late William Mitchell, Gene Mitchell and Bethel McBride. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Chester Dingwell, Jr.

Member of Many Organizations

Chester N. Dingwell, Jr. of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died at home on December 22. He was 74 years old.

Born in Boston, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Revere Moose, American Legion, D.A.V. and Teamsters Local 25 and a former employee of AVON Trucking and Cosco Wholesale.

He was the beloved husband of Anna (O’Brien), the devoted father of Chester N., III of Revere, Joyce Richardson and her husband, Ronald, Donna Marie Dingwell-Richardson and her husband, Paul, all of Everett and Ronald J. of Virginia; dear brother of Elsie Arrigo of Revere and the late Harold Dingwell, Geraldine Lynch, Mary Miller and Richard Dingwell and the son of the late Chester and Mary (Reid) Dingwell. He is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Frank Misiano, Sr.

Former Proprietor of Seacrest Plumbing

Frank J. Misiano, Sr. died unexpectedly in Revere on December 21. He was 82 years old.

He was the former Proprietor of Seacrest Plumbing Company of Revere, a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Revere ITAM Post and the America Legion Post 17 of Revere.

He was the husband of the late Barbara S. (Miles); devoted father of Frank J. Misiano, Jr. of Lynnfield, Barbara A. DeRosa and her husband, Andrew and Diane Misiano, all of Revere and the late Stanley D. Misiano; cherished grandfather of Danielle M. DeRosa, Mariah L. DeRosa, Bianca V.S. Misiano, all of Revere, Stanley D. Misiano, Jr. and Marissa Misiano, both of Wakefield. He is also lovingly survived by his companion, Rosemary O’Connell of Revere and his daughter-in-law, Maria Misiano of Wakefield, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Catherine J. Conte of Malden died on December 23 at the Dexter House Golden Living Center in Malden. She was 90 years old.

Born in Boston and a retired clerk for Blue Cross-Blue Shield, she was the beloved daughter of the late Modestoت and Josephine (Tucci) Conte; sister of the late Angelo, Margaret and Ralph Conte and is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, including Atty. Ron DellaGrotte and family of Woburn.

Olympia P. (Losco) Schettino, a lifelong resident of Revere, died on December 16.

She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Schettino; devoted mother of Virginia Hurley and her husband, John, Pam DiCarlo and her husband, Peter and Janice DelGrosso, all of Revere; dear sister of the late Americo, Ezekiel, Fiorenzo and Felice Losco; cherished grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of 18. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Carol Maggio

Suffolk University Employee

 Carol T. Maggio of Marshfield, formerly of East Boston, died December 25 at her home in Marshfield surrounded by her entire family. She was 69 years old.

She was born July 16, 1942 in Boston, daughter of the late Angelo and Concetta (DeAngelis) Fondini. She was a graduate of Mt. Alvernia Academy and Stenotype Institute of Boston. She worked for Suffolk University for the past 20 years, supporting the law school and as the office manager for the athletic department. She adored her four granddaughters, loved the ocean and taking long walks on Rexhame Beach with her husband, Richard. She loved reading, cooking, and enjoyed watching the full moon rise over the ocean. She recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise to Bermuda with her entire family.

The devoted wife of Richard T. Maggio of Marshfield for 50 years, she was the loving mother of Laura Kenny and her husband, William of East Boston, Maria Maggio of Wakefield, Richard Maggio, Jr. and his wife, Denise of Middleton and David Maggio and his wife, Sarah of Naples, Florida. She was the grandmother of Alexis, Elisabeth, Julia, and Lily and is also survived by her sisters, Diane Albanese of Revere and Sister Suzanne Fondini MFIC of Newton.

 Rosalie (Sorrentino) Famiglietti of Lynn, formerly of Revere and East Boston, died on December 25 at Salem Hospital. She was 62 years old.

A former sales clerk, she was born in Italy, the beloved daughter of the late Girolamo “Jerry” and Maria (Parrinello) Sorrentino; dear sister of Rose LoGrasso and her husband, Franco of Peabody, Vito Sorrentino and his wife, Josephine of Lynn and Rita Brackett and her husband, Shannon of Peabody; loving companion of John Winn of Lynn and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Rosa, Maria, Agata, Rita, Jerry, Maria, Erin, Kelly and Maria.

Charles ‘Charlie’ Santagate

Retired Salesman

 Charles “Charlie” Santagate of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Malden, Chelsea and Revere died on December 24 after an heroic battle with cancer.

known for his good-natured personality, his generosity and his hearty laugh, He won many awards during his long career as a salesman. He served in the US Navy from 1958 to1962 on the Boston-based ice-breaker USS Atka as part of “Operation Deep Freeze.”

He is survived by his loving wife, Jayne; daughters Lisa Santagate, Christine Landale and Kimberley Gulley; stepchildren, Mary Beth Farrell, Jeannie DeMarsico, Matthew Tower and Tammy Deeb. He was the cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild; the brother of Anthony, Joseph and the late Stephen.

A private seaside service in Delray Beach, FL is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL 33881.
