Aileen Robblee
Administrative Assistant to Former Board of Chelsea Aldermen
Aileen G. (Hanson) Robblee, a lifelong resident of Chelsea, died at home on September 6 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 66 years old.
A graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1962, early in her working career, she worked at the Suffolk County Probate Court. In 1979 she took a position at Chelsea City Hall as the administrative assistant to the Board of Alderman, continuing in that capacity when the Chelsea City Council was formed and retiring in 2007.
She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Robblee, Jr.; devoted mother of Michael Robblee and his wife, Joan of Stoneham and Kristin Berteletti and her husband, Thomas of Stoughton; sister of Sr. Claire Hanson, SP, Christine Bishop and Paula Dalis and her husband, Philip, all of Stoneham; cherished grandmother of Mikayla and Lauren Berteletti and Jessica Robblee; loving niece of Louise Sullivan of Dennis, Phyllis Hanson of Revere, Bernard Sullivan of Chelsea and Elaine Sullivan of Revere. She is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.

Ruth and Elmer Bidder
In Loving Memory of Ruth (Markell) and Elmer Bidder
Ruth L. (Markell) Bidder of Delray Beach, Florida died on August 29. She was 94 years old.
Her devoted husband of 63 years, Elmer F. Bidder, died on September 1. He was 87 years old.
Ruth and Elmer were the loving parents of Joanne Tufo Jumper and Captain Steven Bidder. They were the proud grandparents of Lauren Tufo Norvell, Petty Officer First Class Brian Tufo, Seth Bidder and Captain Marc Bidder. They are survived by their five great-grandchildren, nephew Lawrence Markell, Esq., niece Cheryl Markell Schneider and Elmer’s sister, Ann Phillips. Ruth Bidder was the daughter of Marion Goldstein Markell and Samuel Markell and Elmer Bidder was the son of Rose Foley Bidder and Jacob Bidder.
Ruth was a homemaker. Elmer proudly served his nation and community in World War II and as a Sergeant in the Revere Police Department. He retired after 33 years in March of 1989. Although moving to Delray Beach in 1994, Revere Beach and their family and friends were always very dear to them.
Private services were held at the Star of David Cemetery and Funeral Home, North Lauderdale, Florida.

Helen Miller
Of Medford, formerly of Revere
Helen Miller of Medford, formerly of Revere, died on September 5. She was 84 years old.
She was born and raised in Revere and was a resident of Revere for 66 years. She moved to Medford in 1988. Educated in the Revere School System, she was a member of the Temple Shalom-Medford Women’s Council and a member of Santhan Women’s Division of the Knights of Pythias.
She was the beloved wife of Jonah Miller; the devoted mother of Daryll Miller, Bonnie Levy and her husband, Harry and Kevin Miller and his wife, Eunice;Â the dear sister of Sydney Cantor and his wife, Fanette, Marlene Rubin and her husband, Alan and the late Celia Weingberg and the loving grandmother of Aron Levy, Lucas Levy Arthur Miller and his wife, Katy and Samuel Miller.
Services will be held at Temple Shalom of Medford, 475 Winthrop St. Medford on Thursday, September 8 at 10 a.m. Memorial observance will be held at her late residence following the burial until 7 p.m. Friday and will resume Saturday at 7 p.m. until Sunday. Gussie (Crivello) DeAngelis of Revere died on September 1 at the Lighthouse Nursing Home. She was 90 years old.
She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Cosima (Capone) Crivello; the beloved wife of the late Salvatore T. ; devoted mother Diane Grodberg of Saugus and Salvatore M. DeAngelis and his wife, Bernadette of Revere and is also survived by five loving grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Antoinette (Corrado) Aiello, a lifelong Revere resident, died at home with her loving family on September 3. She was 60 years old.
She was a former employee of Home Depot in Somerville and a member of Revere PTA, Title One.
The daughter of the late Anthony Corrado and Antoinette ( Lombardo), she was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Aiello; dear mother of Alyce Esposito and her husband, Domenico of Revere, step mother of Stacey Hilston and her husband, Ed of Merrimack, NH and Scott Aiello and his companion, Linda of Revere; dear sister of Lucy Corrado of Lynn, David Corrado of Boston and Joseph Corrado of New Hampshire and is also survived by six loving grandchildren: Gregory, Domenico Jr, Alexandra, Samantha, Kristina and Megan.

John David Ebinger
Veteran of Two Wars
John David Ebinger of Manama Bahrain. formerly of Revere, died on August 24.
Mr. Ebinger, who worked in the Middle East for many years with Dyn Corp, was a US Air Force veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was the beloved son of the late William Ebinger and Herb and Evelyn (Venezia) Halley; dear brother of Margaret Halley and the late Maude Sparks and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Elaine C. Cannistraro died on September 5 in Manchester, NH. She was 78 years old.
Born in Revere on July 30, 1933, she was the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Hoban) Doherty. She grew up in Massachusetts, married Francis Cannistraro and they settled in South Easton, MA.
She was the wife of the late Francis, who died 50 years ago and is survived by her sons, Stephen Cannistraro of Raymond, NH and James Cannistraro of Gainesville, GA; four grandchildren, Jessi, Joe, Sean, and Nicole; two sisters, Donna Greenaway of Raymond, NH and Margaret Farina of Newtonville, MA, and several nieces and nephews.

Francis Girard Davis Sr.

Francis Girard Davis, Sr., born May 8, 1933 died September 1, 2011 after a very long illness, while holding the hands of his beloved sisters Nancy and Irene.
He was a quiet man who started life during the “Great Depression” and lived with seven other brothers and sisters in Somerville.
Without complaint for many many years, he endured great pain caused by a serious back injury while voluntarily serving in the military for four years during the Korean War. Though a man of few words- none of hate or hurtful thoughts-he was most vociferous about the long and protracted VietNam War that he felt took so many lives, in more ways than one, of young men and women. He was independent and self- reliant in his efforts to always provide for his family. He maintained and renovated numerous single family homes for them in Malden from the 1950’s through the 1990’s.
If there is a heaven. he is in it but he will be missed long and hard by his family.
He was pre-deceased by his extremely loving wife of 48 years and wonderful mother of their children, Peggy (King) Davis of Somerville-Malden and his daughter Brenda Davis Malden-Everett and is also survived by an extended family, the closest of which include his mother, Eleanor Ash of Somerville, who will soon be 101 years old, his brothers and sisters, Paul, Buddy (deceased), Nancy and her husband, Bob DiLoretto, Irene, Eleanor, Mary (deceased) and Joan. His immediate family includes his children Donna Davis of Malden-Saugus, John Davis of Malden-Florida, Francis “Frank” Davis Jr. Malden-Revere, his wife Angela Davis and their son Francis “Frankie” III, Helen Davis, and by his two loving grandchildren, Jenna Davis of Everett-Texas and John Hammersley of Malden. Salvatore “Ponyboy” Giuliano of East Boston died suddenly on August 28.
He was the beloved son of Marylee (Dalton) of Revere and Salvatore Giuliano of Sicily, Italy; father of Alina, Joli and Salvatore Giuliano; brother of William Serreta of Nebraska, Mary Seretta of Boston, Paula Serreta of Revere, Angela Seretta of Worcester, Edward Seretta of Revere, Thomas Seretta of Everett, Monia Kirksey of California, Joseph “Pino” Giuliano of Winthrop and Mariarosa Giuliano of Revere. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and the mother of his children.

Richard M. Otolo of Saugus, formerly of Revere, died on September 2 at the Ann Mark Nursing Home. He was 91 years old.
A veteran of World War II, he was a retired truck driver, a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a member of the Saugus VFW.
He was born in Everett, the son of the late Eugene and Margaret (Rizzo);Â the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Dotolo); devoted father of Nancy Kennedy of Pennsylvania, Richard of New Hampshire. Philip “Pop” Puopolo of Everett died on August 31.
A lifetime member of the Everett Elks, he was a member of the Revere Businessman’s Association.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (MacDonald); father of Francyne and her partner, Leslie Arsenault, Philip, Jr., Nancy and her husband, Robert and Linda and Kerry Laurenza; son of the late Carmine and Frances; brother of Carmine, Jr., John and the late Adele Agresti. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
