The JKA Martial Arts Revere team recently participated in the 2023 JKA/AF National Karate Championships in San Francisco. The team achieved first, second, and third place in multiple divisions. They are now ranked as one of the top 4 teams in the country.
Owner Walid Karaf was so proud of the team. “Congratulations to the JKA Revere team representing JKA/SKDI for your outstanding achievement at the 2023 JKA/AF All USA National Championships. With your determination and high spirits, you make the impossible achievable. Special thanks to the parents, staff and coaches for their support, I’m so proud of you all.”
Located at 318 Squire Road in Revere, JKA Martial Arts Center has been operating for the past 7 years and offers a variety of classes. They specialize in traditional Shotokan karate, as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido and MuThai classes. In addition, they are members of the Japanese Karate Association. The BJJ program is affiliated with the Brazilian Top Team. The classes are open to children ages 5 and up as well as adults, both men and women. All instructors have credentials from their respective organizations.
