Juan Jurado-Rojas, a Communication major from Revere presented work at the Lasell College Spring Connected Learning Symposium in April.
Jurado-Rojas gave a presentation, “Anime and Ethics: A Miyazaki Story,” as part of a course on modern Japan.
The Connected Learning Symposium at Lasell College began in 2002, though the institution’s academic and professional approach to Connected Learning began long before. Symposium is an opportunity for students to showcase industry-informed work with professional clients and organizations.
“This spring’s symposium was extraordinary,” said Jim Ostrow, provost and professor of sociology.
The event took place on April 23, with additional symposium presentations throughout the week. Those included the annual Senior Runway Show, Education and Health Sciences presentations, Writing Awards, and performances.
