Four Incumbents Return to Council Seats;Rotondo is Back

Incumbent Councillor-at-Large Jessica Giannino once again topped the ticket in the city council race with 5,292 votes Tuesday.

Following her lead was return councillor George Rotondo who garnered 4,531 votes in the councillor at large race. Coming in third was incumbent and former mayor Robert Haas Jr. Grabbing the fourth seat open was incumbent Steve Morabito, who has been nursing an injured leg for the last week. Veteran Councillor Anthony Zambuto took home 3,919 vote.

Ward 4 councillor Stephen Reardon did not make the cut, being topped by newcomer Patrick Keefe Jr.

Other challengers for the councillor-at-large race were Matt Amato with 2,948 votes; John Correggio with 2,523 votes; Michael Falzone with 1,629 votes; Priscilla Nickerson with 2,229 votes and Ed O’Hara garnered 1,618 votes.

Running unopposed were Ward 1 Councillor Joanne McKenna; Ward 2 Councillor Ira Novoselsky; Ward 3 Councillor Arthur Guianasso; Ward 5 Councillor John Powers and Ward 6 Councillor Charles Path Sr.
