Linda Consolo

Avis Rent a Car Administrative Assistant

Linda M. Consolo of Crest Avenue, Revere died suddenly at the Whidden Hospital, Everett on December 31. She was 53 years old.

Born in Winthrop and a lifetime resident of Revere, she was the beloved daughter of James O’Neill and the late Geraldine (Adamson). She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Avis Rent a Car for many years.

The beloved wife of Steven Consolo and the loving mother of Michelle Consolo, Lynda Lee Consolo and Nicole Marotta, all of Revere and Lisa Consolo of East Boston, she was the devoted sister of Geraldine O’Neill, Carolyn Canzano, Kathleen Straccia, all of Revere, Sean O’Neill of New York and the late James O’Neill. She was the cherished grandmother of Robert, Kayla and Justin.

Edward Faneuf, 81

Paper Industry Press Writer

Edward T. Faneuf of E. Mountain Ave., Revere died at the Lowell General Hospital, Lowell on December 31 after a brief illness. He was 81 years old.

Born in Springfield, the beloved son of the late Helen (O’Neil) and Joseph Faneuf, he was a US Marine Corps veteran of Korea, honorably discharged as a Sergeant and was employed as a press writer in the paper industry.

He was the beloved husband of the late Alicia (Amaya) and the loving father of Diane and Paul Firicano of Chelmsford; the devoted brother of Helen, Joanne, Rosemarie and the late Joseph and the cherished grandfather of Gianna, Devin, Ava, Natalia and Anson.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son Funeral Home, Winthrop. Burial was in Winthrop Cemetery.

 

Camilla Casey

Nursery School operator, retired sales associate and model

Camilla A. (Donahue) Casey of Revere, formerly of Lynn, died after a long illness on December 31 at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center of Revere. She was 83 years old.

She was born in Boston on June 21, 1926, attended Boston Schools and graduated from Boston Girls Latin in 1940. As a young woman, she began a career at R.H. Stearns and then at the prestigious C. Crawford Hollidge Department Store as a sales associate and model. With her husband, the late Thomas R. Casey, who died in August of 1997, she lived in Lynn, Milford, CT and Newport Richey, Florida. While in Lynn, she operated "The Little Tot Nursery School" for more than 13 years.

She was the devoted mother of Karen A. Myers and her husband, Warren F., of Revere; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth C. Myers-Azano and her husband, Charles "Chip" Azano, and Warren F. "Jay" Myers, all of South Boston. She was the sister of the late Francis Donahue and the daughter of the late Michael and Bridget (Londergan) Donahue.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church (Corner of Winthrop Avenue and Beach Street) Revere. She will be buried with her late husband in the Mass National Cemetery, Bourne at a later time. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 138 Conant St., Beverly, MA 01915. Arrangements were completed by the Vertuccio Home for Funerals of Revere.

 

Thomas Barrasso

Kind Man with a Warm Sense of Humor

Thomas A. Barrasso of East Boston died at home of kidney failure on January 3. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Barrasso will be remembered as a kind man with a warm sense of humor. His friends were extremely important to him and he loved to see people happy and laughing. His family will remember his love for vintage cars, boats and fishing. After earning a living in the furniture moving business, he was also proud of his work in the car towing industry. He is loved and will forever maintain a spot in the hearts of those who loved him most.

He will be dearly missed by his longtime companion, Laura Poirier; his devoted brother, Richard Barrasso, and his wife, Bonnie, of Peabody; his nephews, Jeremy and Justin Barrasso, who always enjoyed his humor and laughter; his beloved aunt, Angela McKenna, and his nine cousins Billy, Bobby, and Jerry McKenna, Geraldine Cull, Charles and James Marciano, Mary Grace Festa and Pam and Denise Marciano.

Mr. Barrasso’s Funeral will be held from Vazza’s "Beechwood" Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere, Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by services in the Chapel of the Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. Family and friends may visit today, Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Henry Hersey

Raytheon retiree

Henry H. Hersey of Wilmington, formerly of Winthrop and Revere, died on December 26 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was 89 years old.

A Chief Bosun’s Mate on Sub Chaser SCI321 in the U.S. Navy during World War II and a Coast Guard reservist until 1961, Mr. Hersey was a retired electronics technician for the Raytheon Corporation.

He was the husband of the late Irene (Flaherty) and the father of Julie D. (Hersey) Sneirson of Peabody and Cheryl H. Spracklin of Wilmington; the brother of Evelyn Keegan of Coneras Cove, Texas, Donald Hersey of Wareham and the late Robert, James, Arthur, Frederick, Alan, Carolyn Morgan and Jeanne Oliver. He was the grandfather of Stacey DiMaglio of Wakefield, Amy Tringale of Windham, NH, Jayne Belinsky of Wayland, Jennifer Bradley of Andover and Timothy and Christina Spracklin of Wilmington. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington on Saturday, January 9 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Retired Telephone Operator

Helen G. (Snow) Page, a 40 year resident of Revere, died at home surrounded by her loving family on December 19.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (O’Connell) Snow. She was a graduate of St. Rose High School and worked as a telephone operator. A loving wife and mother, she was devoted to her home and family.

She was the beloved wife of 46 years of James Page; devoted mother of Cindy Trant, Suzy Kioussis, Dorothy Morgan, all of Revere, and James Page of Lynn; dear sister of Marie Dempsey of Florida, Billy Snow of South Carolina and the late Dorothy Starr; cherished grandmother of Christina Page, Laura Cudoni, Samantha Kioussis, Nicholas Kioussis, Jacqueline Kioussis, James Kioussis, Jessica Page, Joshua Page, Matthew Page, Mike Morgan and Cate Morgan and adored great-grandmother of Noah Page and Lugi Maringello.

Patricia Geremonte

Medical Receptionist

Patricia L. Geremonte of Brockton died December 30 surrounded by family and friends. She was 58 years old.

A daughter of the late John and Claire (Cassidy) Piana, she was a longtime medical receptionist at Goddard Medical Associates. She enjoyed music, singing and spoiling her grandchildren.

She was the beloved mother of Danae A. Lamarre and her husband, Lloyd, of Brockton and James M. Geremonte of Brockton; loving grandmother of Caleb J. Lamarre, Dante L. Lamarre, Giana C. Lamarre and Kailyn P. Shepherd; sister of Kevin Piana of Revere, Stephen Piana of Everett and John M. Piana of Florida and the wife of 39 years of Dana Geremonte.

Lillie M. (Moultrie) Brown of Medford died on December 31. She was 74 years old.

She was the loving wife of the late Richard E. Brown; beloved mother of Danny A. Brown of Revere and Wanda J. and her husband, John Tinger, of Methuen; dear sister of Rosa Hall of Arizona and is also survived by many dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard Stanley of Revere died on December 29.

A US Navy veteran of World War II and co-owner of Stanley Seafood, he was an active outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, hunting and golf and a former member of the Danvers Fish & Game Club, Minute Man Sportsman Club and Silver Dollar Trap & Golf of Odessa Fla.

He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie J. (Flanagan); devoted father of Richard of Revere, Robert and his wife, Donna, of Saugus, Debi of Revere, Marjorie and her husband, Lawrence, of Lynnfield and Ronald of Revere. His is also survived by 13 grandchildren and was also the grandfather of one late grandchild.

He was a past member of the Madonna Maria SS Addolorata and founder and President of M&S Remodeling of Revere and the La Vita Mia Restaurant of Saugus.
