Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass today Wednesday, July 29th in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 11 a.m. (Please meet directly at church), for Deborah A. “Debbie” Belmonte, who died on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 at Care Dimensions in Lincoln, following a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 71 years old. Interment will immediately follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. It was Debbie’s request to respectfully omit visiting hours.
Debbie was a lifelong resident of Revere, where she was proudly raised and educated. She was an alumnus of Revere High School, Class of 1972. Debbie began a career at the Cheslea Court House, where she worked as a clerk enjoying a career that spanned over 40 years.
Debbie enjoyed her life by going to the beach which was truly one of her favorite places to be, she was a frequent visitor at Jacob’s Ladder back in the day, where she enjoyed socializing and having fun.
Debbie truly loved her cars, she always had beautiful cars and she kept them in showroom condition. Debbie’s all-time favorite musician was Rod Stewart, and she always had his music on in her car or at home. She was devoted to her parents as they became ill and provided them with extraordinary care. She loved her family and had a great relationship with her many cousins.
The beloved daughter of the late Angelo “Dobbin” Belmonte and Laura B. (Plona) Belmonte, late proprietors of the Pine River Fish Market, she was the dear sister of Anthony Belmonte and his wife, Margaret of Beverly; the cherished aunt of Anthony A. Belmonte and also Andrew Belmonte, and John Belmonte.; the special grand aunt of Domenic Belmonte and the treasured cousin of Jeffrey Plona and his wife, Leanne of Hudson, New Hampshire and their daughter, Laura Plona and her partner Ted McIntosh of Malden. She is also lovingly survived by her late canine companion, Sapphire and many cousins and close friends.
