Tickets for the Revere-Winthrop Thanksgiving football game will be on sale at Athletic Director Frank Shea’s Office at the high school on Monday Nov. 21 through Wednesday, Nov. 23. All pre-sale tickets are $5. Tickets at the door on the morning of the game are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

The game will be played on Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. at Harry Della Russo Stadium.

Annual Christmas concert Dec. 4

Music Director Robert Lehmann and the North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra will arrive in Revere for the annual the Annual Robert A. Marra Memorial “Sounds of Christmas” Concert. The concert celebrates its 40th Anniversary Sunday, December 4 at 4 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church. Admission to the concert is free but every person attending the concert is asked to bring a generous donation of non-perishable food to benefit the Revere Food Pantry.


Another public skating season is coming to the Cronin Arena. The new schedule begins after Thanksgiving on November 28, so bundle up, bring some friends, and come get in the holiday spirit with some skating.

No Public Skating

These public skating sessions are applicable from November 28, 2016 through February 26, 2017. For updated schedules, please visit our website.

Cronin Arena is located at 870 Revere Beach Pkwy in Revere, MA and is a Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) ice skating facility managed by FMC Ice Sports.

Historical Society holds open house

The Revere Historical Society and Museum will hold an open house at their headquarters at 108 Beach St. in an effort to raise $35,000 for a new roof. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 19. Donations for the roof can be sent to the Revere Historical Society and Museum, 108 Beach St., Revere, MA 02151 or by connecting on the group’s Facebook page.


Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is hosting a hiring event, free and open to the public, at the CHA Malden Care Center, located at 195 Canal Street in Malden on Wednesday, November 16, from 5-8 p.m. Highlighted opportunities in primary care include Nurse Managers, Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, PARIIs (Medical Assistant/Front Desk), Practice Medical Receptionists RNs and LPNs.
