Dr. Mohammad Teleghani
Retired physician whose life was dedicated to caring for his beloved family and patients
Dr. Mohammad F.Taleghani in Bowling Green, KY formerly of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, Washington DC and Maryland died on March 2 following an unexpected illness. He was 84 years old.
A native of Tehran Iran, born on Dec. 21, 1931 and the oldest of nine children, he was the patriarch of a large family. He graduated from Tehran University Medical School and fulfilled a 50 year distinguished careeer in pulmonary medicine retiring in 2012.
He began his medical career in the USA as an intern at the Chelsea Soldiers Home where he met his first wife, Marilyn Y. (Kelly) a nurse on staff. They married in 1961 and over the course of their marriage, they lived in Washington, DC and Maryland and traveled extensively. After retirement, he met and married his wife, Soudabeh (Minou) moving to Bowling Green, KY.
A dynamic man of great courage and intelligence, his warmth, inspiration and laughter will be missed by all who know him. Dr. Taleghani’s life was dedicated to caring for his beloved family and patients.
He was the beloved husband of Soudabeh (Minou) of Bowling Green, KY and the late Marilyn Y. (Kelly); cherished father of Lisa Mary Bonaiuto and her husband, Steven A. of Revere, Marilyn Shrin Taleghani of Waldord, MD, Dr. Christopher Kelly Taleghani, Richard Abbas Taleghani and his wife, Jeanne, all of Nashville, TN; devoted grandfather of Raquel Faulkner of Cedar Rapids, IA, Ray Procopio of Nashville TN and the late Sabrina Faulkner; dear brother of Azam Razaghi and her husband, Ahmed, Fahti Nariman and her husband, Ali, Dr. Mehdi Adham and his wife, Behnaz, Dr. Abdul Adham and his wife, Sahi and the late Mali Tehran, Nahead Adham, Masum Adham and Abdol Adham. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St, Everett. Brian Peters, Sr.
Longtime member of the First Baptist Church
Brian J. Peters, Sr. of Berwick, Maine, formerly of Revere, died on March 3 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was 62 years old.
He was a member of the Electricians Union Local 103, a long time member of the Boy Scouts and a beloved longtime member of the The First Baptist Church. Brian loved the Lord and everyday he put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
The son of the Late Francis X. and Elizabeth P. (MacNamara) Peters, he was the beloved husband of Dorothea Filipowich-Peters; devoted father of Brian J. Jr and his wife, Angelica of Sanford, Maine and Dennis F. of Randolph; cherished grandfather of Nevaeh Faith Peters, Mattea Grace Peters, Brian J. Peters III and Isabella Jimenez; loving uncle of Scott Murphy and his wife, Kim, Jessica Filipowich, Olivia Scarlet Filipowich, Christina Filipowich, Matthew Filipowich, Nicholas Filipowich and William Roselli. He also leaves his great nieces and nephews: Jack, Ilea, Aiden, Hayden, and Scott Jr. He was the dear brother in-law of Bill and Donna Filipowich, Ronald and Kristen Filipowich, and Lorraine and Joe Troville.

Of Revere
Joyce (D’Amato) Iantosca of Revere passed away peacefully on March 20.
The loving daughter of Mario and Jennie (DeMarco) D’Amato of Revere, she was the devoted mother of Gaetano and Danielle Iantosca of Revere; dear sister of John Baldassari of Saugus, Joanne Baldassari of Malden, Denise Coe of New Hampshire and the late Ronald and Steven Baldassari. The former wife of Gaetano Iantosca, she is also survived by many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will honor Joyce’s life by gathering on Monday, March 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston and again on Tuesday morning, March 29 at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to Immaculate Conception Church, Revere for a Funeral Mass in celebration of Joyce’s life at 10:30 a.m. Services will conclude with Joyce being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. Susan Jane Rice
Long time UPS employee
Susan Jane (Rollins) Rice passed away Thursday morning, March 17 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was 65 years old.
 Born in Chelsea, the daughter of the late Irving and Laura Cynthia (Findlay) Rollins, Susan attended Chelsea Public Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1968. She received her Associate’s Degree in Business and worked as a customs house broker for UPS in Chelsea for many years until June of 2015 when her illness prevented her from working. Susan was the current secretary of the Air Cargo Club of New England and was also a past president of the club. She liked to keep busy with her hobbies of jewelry making, crafts and sewing. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and extended family at the UPS.
Susan was the beloved wife of Garry H. Rice of Revere; devoted mother of Michelle Gregory and her husband, Vincent A. of Revere and Colby H. Rice and his fiance, Julie Vallarelli of Arlington. She is also lovingly survived by two grandchildren, Amanda and Brianna Gregory, both of Revere.
A Memorial Service and a celebration of Susan’s life will be conducted in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Avenue, Chelsea today, Wednesday, March 23 at 7 p.m. Visiting hours will precede the service from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Graduate of RHS, Class of 1977
Tracy J. (Sargent) Coscia died unexpectedly on Monday, March 21 at Whidden Memorial Hospital. She was 56 years old.
Born and raised in Beachmont, Revere, she was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1977 and worked as a medical secretary and receptionist for the Hallmark Health System, especially at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, for over 20 years. Two years ago she embarked on a new career as a logal secretary for a Boston law firm.
She was the beloved wife of 28 years to Thomas J. Coscia and the devoted mother to Lacey J. Coscia and Stacey A. Coscia and her partner, Dennis A. Pallino, all of Revere and Holly Anne Coscia of Portland, Oregon; the cherished daughter of George W. Sargent and the caring sister of Jeri A. Sargent, Raymond S. Sargent and Jean A. Sargent and her partner, Marc A. D’Ambrosio, all of Beachmont, Revere.
She is also lovingly survived by her precious grandaughter, Anikalean Hamilton of Portland, Oregon, her special canine friend, Dobby and by many nieces and nephews.

Vincent Antonelli
Beloved father and grandfather
Vincent “Vinny†Thomas Antonelli of Revere passed away on March 20 with his family by his side. He was 70 years old.
Vinny was born on July 18, 1945 in Everett, son of the late Vincent and Phyllis (DiPiano) Antonelli. He was also preceded in death by his sister Jane (Antonelli) Kennedy.
Vinny was an avid tennis player, enjoyed and taught Greek dancing, and loved international music. He had a warm smile and was patient and generous with everyone.
He graduated from Revere High School in 1963 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. He worked as a computer programmer/analyst for Boston Edison for many years and then for Aspen Systems in Portsmouth, NH until retirement.
He was the devoted and cherished father of Michael Antonelli of Revere, Alexis (Antonelli) Morris and her husband, James of Chelsea, Michigan, Natasha Antonelli and her husband, Djelloul of Revere; grandfather to André and Wendy Romero of Revere and Zoë Morris of Chelsea, Michigan; and uncle to Rebecca Kennedy of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by his ex-wife and friend Karen Robins. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Of Revere
Rita (Callahan) Carifio of Revere passed away on March 16. She was 97 years old.
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Carifio with whom she shared 62 years of marriage; loving mother of Jacqueline Aurigemma and her husband, Albert and the late Arthur Brown and his surviving wife, Lisa and the late Richard Carifio and his surviving wife, Donna; sister of the late Elizabeth Fillinger, Thomas and John Callahan, Mary Lombardo and Kathleen Bundrick. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.

Steven A. Langille of Amesbury, formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on March 18.
Mr. Langille was a US Air Force veteran and a member of the VFW.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon (Deering) Langille; devoted father of Christine Langille of Beachmont Revere, David Langille of Beverly, Loriann Latmier of Nashua and Sean Langille of Washington, DC; dear brother of Janet Dunbar of Derry, NH and Barbara Djenelewski of Milton; adored grandfather of Tommy, Ricky and Patrick and he is also survived by may cherished nieces and nephews.

Henry T. Murphy Jr. of Chelsea, formerly of Quincy and Lynn, died on March 20. He was 72 years old.
A member of Teamsters Local 25, he was the devoted father of Cheriann O’Connor and her husband, Michael and their children, Riley and Madison, all of Quincy; son of the late Henry T., Sr. and Edith (Lynch) Murphy; brother of Rita Corey and her husband, Chuck, Carol Sullivan and her husband, Robert and Thomas Murphy, all of Florida, Paul Murphy and his wife, Carol of Fall River and the late Edith Shenett and her late husband, Al. He is also lovingly survived by his companion, Edith Gallant of Chelsea, his former wife, Ann Crickett and her husband, Brian of Quincy, their daughter, Robyn Davidson and her husband, Matt of Weymouth as well as by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Conchetta Gualtieri
Longtime member of St. Mary’s Women’s Club
Conchetta (Catizone) Gualtieri, a lifelong resident of Revere, died on March 16 at Life Care Center of The North Shore. She was 91 years old.
A graduate of Revere High School, she was a long time member of St. Mary’s Women’s Club and attended Bingo regularly.
The daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary (Mancuso) Catizone, she was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas P. ; devoted mother of the late Nicholas and his surviving wife, Eleanor of Saugus and the late Joseph Gualtieri; dear sister of Dorothy Bagley of Revere and the late Salvatore Catizone, Eleanor Dellgatta, Rose Hogan, Angelina Harrison and Robert Catizone; loving grandmother of Joseph P. Gualtieri of Saugus and is also survived by her sister in-law Rose Catizone and by many nieces and nephews.

Edward Fay
Decorated Veteran and former RHS All Star Hockey Goalie
Edward “Ed†Fay of Deltona, Florida, a retired Operations Superintendent with CONTEL, passed away peacefully at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City. He was 85 years old.
Ed was born October 22, 1930 in Brighton, Massachusetts to Joseph and Martha (Keenan) Fay. He was a Revere High School graduate where he was an All-Star Hockey Goalie. He kept in touch with teammates and lifelong friends Jonny Zaino and Bobby Petrino. He heroically served his country in the US Marine Corps where he rose to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and was awarded the Purple Heart as well as other awards and citations.
Ed excelled in Racquetball, he went on to teach at the YMCA in Deland. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America, coached football, and umpired baseball and softball in Virginia and Florida.
Ed and his wife, Sunee relocated to Volusia County in 1986 from Vermont. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sunee of Deltona, his son Joseph “Joe†Fay and his wife Mary of Hollywood, Maryland, a brother, Richard Fay and his wife, Kathleen of Deltona, two grandchildren, Nathan and Jed Fay and a step-grandson Matthew Clem.
Visitation was held on March 21 at Lohman Funeral Home; 1681 Providence Blvd. Deltona. Inurnment with full military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at Deland Memorial Gardens. Edna Fairchild
Of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston
Edna R. (Silva) Fairchild of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, passed awat after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She was 97 years old.
Born in Rhode Island, Edna came to live in East Boston with her family when she two years old. She spent 63 years in East Boston and moved to Winthrop 35 years ago. For 21 years she worked as a cashier for the old “First National Stores†chain in the Orient Heights, East Boston store.
Edna was all about family and enjoyed a beautiful closeness with her entire family. Her late husband, Charles N. Fairchild died in January of 1958, leaving her a single mother with three little children to care for. And that she did and did well according to her children, until her dying day.
The cherished mother of Eileen Fairchild-White and her husband, Walter P. of East Boston, Robert W. Fairchild and his wife, Norah Dooley of Brookline and Phyllis C. Fairchild of Winthrop, she was the devoted grandmother of Sira Dooley-Fairchild, Julia Dooley-Fairchild, Ferron Dooley-Fairchild and Rosalie Dooley-Fairchild, all of Brookline and is also lovingly survived by her niece, Patricia A. Thompson and her husband, Richard of East Boston.
