Fred Guazzerotti

Funeral Services were held privately for Fred A. Guazzerotti who passed away on June 21, surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years old.
Born in East Boston, the son of Ferdinando and Mary (Bernardinelli) Guazzerotti, he was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. He entered the U.S. Navy, served during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1960.
He soon married his love, Elisa P (Ferrara) and the couple remained in East Boston to begin their family. In 1969, the family relocated to Revere where Fred remained until his passing. His wife Elisa passed away in November of 2021 after together sharing 64 years of marriage.
Fred worked for the United States Postal Service for 35 years and was a true gentleman and a dedicated family man.
He worked hard to provide for his family and his biggest enjoyment was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fred will be remembered for his love of music and sense of humor. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.
The beloved husband of 64 years to the late Elisa P. (Ferrara) Guazzerotti, he was the devoted father of Julia Morico of Revere, Fred Guazzerotti and his wife, Holly of Mooresville, NC and Patricia Catanzaro and her partner, Mohamad Kabbara of Saugus; cherished grandfather of Christina Strong and her husband, Jonathan of Danvers, Angela Otolo and her husband, Robert of Danvers, Anthony Morico of Revere, Jordan Catanzaro of Lynn, Joshua Catanzaro of Las Vegas, NM, Andrew Guazzerotti of Mooresville, NC and Anna Guazzerotti of Mooresville, NC; cherished great-grandfather of Sophia, Jonathan “J.J.â€, Jayce, Stella, Camden and Liam; dear brother of Joseph Guazzerotti of Florida and the late Rosa Mara, Andrew Guazzerotti and Lucy Albanese. He is also lovingly survived by Annette Viscarello of Revere, who served as a caretaker assisting his family and he also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

John H. Gaffney Jr.
Former Revere Youth Hockey Director
John H. Gaffney, Jr. of Largo, Florida, formerly of Revere, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather of Largo, Florida, born on December 24, 1930, passed away on Tuesday, May 31 at 91 years of age.
He was married to the love of his life, Barbara (Roberts) Gaffney for 58 Years.
John was the son of John H. Gaffney, Sr. and Natalie Wixon Gaffney of Revere.
He was a graduate of Revere High School and received his Associate in Civil Engineering Degree from Northeastern University. He worked in construction as a site superintendent for his entire career.
John was a proud U.S. Marine who served in the Korean Conflict. He was Honorably Discharged and earned the National Defense Service Medal for Time of Conflict.
He was the former Director of Revere Youth Hockey and a well-respected coach and mentor to many kids. John was President of Rancho Village Golf League in Largo, Florida and as a sign of respect, the League’s Championship Trophy is named in his honor.
John was an avid sportsman and followed all sports with a special love for Hockey. He played many years in the Revere Fast Pitch Softball League and played golf right up until his passing.
John is survived by his two sons,William Gaffney and his wife, Jaime Gaffney of Atkinson, NH and Robert Gaffney and his wife, Brandie Gaffney of Seabrook, NH; four grandchildren: Annmarie Stucker and her husband, Brian Stucker of Hampton Falls, NH, Patrick Gaffney of Winthrop, Elyse Gaffney and Evan Gaffney, both of Seabrook, NH; four great-grandchildren: William Stucker, Lucas Stucker, Maxwell Stucker and Samuel Stucker, all of Hampton Falls, NH; His siblings: Richard Gaffney of Largo, FL, Gerry Monteforte of Brookfield, NH, Linda Gaffney of Saugus and Marilyn Stirt of Wolfeboro, NH. He was also the brother of the late Chester Gaffney and Ronald Gaffney.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 30 at St Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. All family and friends are welcome to attend. At the request of the family, burial is private.

William V. Frangipane, of Revere, passed away June 21, 2022 at the age of 75.
William was a veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. A burial with military honors will take place Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 12:45 PM at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Charlotte Beverly Bromberg
Retired teacher who proudly served as President of the Jack Satter House Tenants Association
Charlotte Beverly (Cohen) Bromberg of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, passed on June 19.
Charlotte was a retired school teacher who taught in the Chelsea and Revere school districts for over 30 years. She enjoyed her retirement at the Jack Satter House in Revere where she proudly served as President of the Tenants Association.
The beloved wife of the late Harold Bromberg, she was the devoted mother of Cheryl Burack and her husband, Scott and Robin Bromberg, the loving daughter of the late Bella and the late Joseph Cohen, the dear sister of Barbara Parmet and her husband, Art, the loving grandmother of Brandon Naggar, Marissa Burack and Harrison Burack and the beloved aunt of Matthew and Chad Parmet.

Bruno A. Nappa, Sr.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere on Monday, June 27 for Bruno A. Nappa, Sr., 86, who passed away unexpectedly on June 22 in his Revere home. Entombment was in Woodlawn Cemetery – Versailles Mausoleum, Everett.
Bruno was a native of Naples, Italy. He was born and educated in Italy and as a young boy, at the age of 9, he began to work by hand designing hand blown glass until he was 21 years old. He enlisted in the Italian Army, where he served his country for 18 months. He later moved to Germany where he worked in a soap manufacturing company for seven years, then returning to Naples. He bought and operated his own taxi service for 26 years.
While he was in Naples, he met and married his wife Anna (Rossi). The couple began their life together in Italy and had five children. In 1978, they made the journey from Italy to America, settling in Revere. Bruno was a very hard-working man who always provided for his family. He worked as a machinist for many years at the C. E. Clark Co. in Everett until his retirement.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Anna (Rossi) Nappa of Revere; loving father of Rita Jambour and her husband, Paul of Haverhill, Gennaro “Jerry†Nappa, Sr. and his wife, Pamela of Saugus, Josephine Rozopoulos of Peabody, Bruno Nappa, Jr. and his wife, Maria of Stoneham, and the late Massimilliano “Max†Nappa. He was the cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and the dear brother of four brothers and sisters living and deceased in Italy. He is also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Timothy Michael Amentola
Loved by All Who Knew Him
Timothy “Tim†Michael Amentola shuffled off this mortal coil suddenly on June 9 at his home in Kissimmee, Florida at the age of 58.
Tim grew up in Winthrop and attended Winthrop High. A painter by trade, Tim worked for Pino Brothers Construction for the last 20 plus years.
Among his favorite pastimes were playing cribbage, listening to classic rock music and watching science fiction.
Tim’s impact on those he cared for was manifest.
He sought out the downtrodden and the authentic. He found the good in even the most wretched among us.
Tim was an avid reader and lifelong learner. Above all else, Tim will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor. He could make even the most somber of us crack up with laughter.
Tim was loved by all who knew him and he will be forever in our hearts.
A loving son, brother, friend and surrogate father to so many, Tim was predeceased by his great grandmother, Nora (Nana) Weiland, his parents Vincent and Margaret Amentola and his sister, Kathleen Kittredge. Tim is survived by his fiancé and lifelong friend, Melinda (Mindy) Curry and her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Josh Brown, all of Kissimmee, FL, his brother, Michael Amentola of Revere, his brother and sister-in-law, David and Lauri Amentola of Millbury, MA as well as his brother-in-law, William Kittredge of Bradford, MA. He is also survived by two aunts, Marie Monteleone of Winthrop and Connie Amentola of Wakefield, two nieces, Francine Amentola of Attleboro and Jessica Kulevich and her husband, Gerard of Wilmington and a nephew, Christopher Kittredge and his wife, Karen of Baton Rouge, LA and many generations of nieces, nephews and cousins.
