Party or Riot?

Police broke up an extremely out of control party last Saturday, March 24th at an apartment in 51 Beach St.
The party was so over the top that neighbors more than a block away could hear the music as if it were coming out of their own stereo system.
Police arrived around 11:30 p.m. and found a pretty hostile situation. A number of scuffles between police and partygoers ensued. Several arrests were made and one police officer went to the MGH in Boston with pretty serious injuries sustained in a fight for control of the situation.
Police also allegedly found a sound system in the small, upstairs apartment that was designed to be used by a professional DJ in a club setting.
Six people were arrested, all from Revere, Cambridge and Lynn.
Look for more details in next week’s edition of the Journal.

To bad, that the story was not fact based because the writer failed to investigate and report the true events that took place the day of the party. The writer “conviniently” forgot to mention that there was pepper spray used with children present at the scene. The writer also forgot to mention the injustice on the persons and all of the civil rights that were violated by the Revere police department.

Seth, you should see the updated version of the report. Note the addenedum by the injured officer. The injured officer as well as other officers at the scene detail how they warned them several times to get away from them or they would be sprayed, only to have these people HOLD UP INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN AND USE THEM AS SHIELDS!!!!!!

There were many more charges added to the list as well. The officers endured great danger against an overwhelming number of drunken morons!
And to you Kristal; who brings a child to a party like that, especialy at that hour? You should be ashamed of yourself.
There were no civil rights violations accept the racist comments made against the officers.
As I understand it, all you had to do was answer the door and turn down the music. Oh, that and be able to control your drunken racist aggressions towards these officers who just wanted you to turn down the music! How to you justify attacking police officers?? A preteen girl was heard outside screaming white racism remarks and had to be taken into custody. How do you explain THOSE civil rights violations Kristel?

    no no
I completely agree with what Kristel said.
nobody in the party would ever do something like to HOLD UP INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN AND USE THEM AS SHIELDS…
they are lying about that and besides the officer that got “injured” already had medical problems so find that out…
if you don’t know what happened i don’t think you have the right to say things like that (Manny Richtophen )

That is wrong because there were kids there and the police had no right to spray pepper spray. If your not going to state eveything that happen don’t say anything. It would be better to ask the people that were there than to take the words of the police dudes.

    Hey Bryan,
    Were not the police there?
    And ask yourself this:
What do the police have to gain by making things up? Now ask yourself this question; Do you think the police, outnumberd over 10 to one, felt they had nt other choice? Do you think they wanted to do that?
Why not ask the males who got arrested why they would not just comply wiht the officers? Why wouldn’t those people open th door?
Why wouldn’t they just TURN DOWN THE MUSIC???????
Must be the police’s fault, right?
I saw the whole thing from the street AND haerd the music! I saw the police come and leave and those people turn the music back up and not let them back in AND GOAD THEM fro the windows! I WAS there. I LIVE there. Do you?
I would be more apt to believe police officers who are only doing their job then a bunch of drunken fools who are trying to save face!
Why would you have children at a party like that and up at that hour? Oh, I know,, it’s the police’s fault. They must’ve planted them there!

Oh, and Geraldina, Are you talking about the officer who runs marathons? That guy was already “injured”? You must know him personally then? I talked to the ambulance crew on Broadway two days later and they said he was admitted. Must’ve been a good faker to be working with all those injuries!
