On Wednesday August 23, The Revere Chamber of Commerce sponsored a hybrid workshop on Estate Planning Strategies and Long-Term Care Insurance at the Marriott Springhill Suites (400 Ocean Ave, Revere Beach). The workshop was delivered in two sessions; beginning with Estate Planning Attorney Bridgette Flores presenting an informative session on Estate Planning essentials such as probate, wills, and other important estate planning and preservation strategies. The second presentation was presented by Revere Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and New York Life advisor Erica Porzio and her business partner, fellow New York Life advisor, Colleen Island-Mateo. Porzio and Island-Mateo presented an in-depth seminar on Long Term Care planning and strategies.
*Since taking the position as Executive Director for the Chamber earlier this year, Porzio has made it her mission to provide accessible programming and services to all members of the Revere community by offering workshops and programs in both English and Spanish. Moreover, Porzio and Island-Mateo (who is bilingual in English and Spanish), have teamed up with the Revere Chamber of Commerce to provide the Revere community with access to free planning meetings, seminars, and workshops in all areas of Financial planning, including but not limited to; Business planning, Retirement planning, Employee Group Benefits, Disability, and Long Term Care insurance.
Porzio, Island-Mateo, and Attorney Bridgette Flores will continue providing these free, accessible workshops to the Revere community through the Chamber of Commerce on a monthly basis. These workshops will alternate monthly in both Spanish and English, as well as touch upon many different areas of Law and Financial Planning.
