Stephen Rappl

Worked for UPS; member of Teamsters Local 25

Stephen J. Rappl of Revere died suddenly on March 28.

Stephen worked for UPS and was a member of Teamsters Local 25.

He was the beloved husband of Ellie (Graves); devoted father of Stephen Jr. and Skyler, both at home; loving son of Barbara Rappl of Revere; dear brother of Lindy Rappl of Revere and cherished uncle of Sophia and Charlie Raso. He is also survived by his loving in laws Kevin and Jacqueline (Graves) Gilmore and brothers in-law Michael Graves and Michael Raso.

Funeral Services in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere will be held on Friday April 3 at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Stephen worked for UPS and was a member of Teamsters Local 25. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ellie for their children. Donald Hall

Skilled in building trades

Donald Hall passed away on March 26. He was 60 years old.

Donny would often lend his many skills in the building trades to his friends often times for little or no charge. He will be missed by many.

He leaves two sons, Jason and Justin, both of Revere.

A memorial luncheon will be held at the Revere Moose Lodge, 470 Broadway, Revere on Tuesday, April 7 between the hours of 11 a.m. And 3 p.m. (free parking in the rear of Rite Aid). Come share a toast in Donny’s memory.

Rosemary Cavaretta

Medical call taker

Rosemary Cavaretta of Revere died on March 27. She was 52 years old.

A call taker in the medical field, she was born in Everett and was the beloved daughter of the late Frank L. Sr. and Florence A. (Juliano) Cavaretta; dear sister of Frank L. Cavaretta, Jr. and his wife, Terry of Pepperell and Lenny Cavaretta and his wife, Terezinha Sarmento of Las Vegas; loving aunt of four nephews and one great niece.

Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons~Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Robert E. Sullivan, Sr.

Worked on Revere Beach

Robert E. Sullivan, Sr., a life long Revere resident, pased away on March 24 at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose following a long illness. He was 77 years old.

Born and raised in Revere, he was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1955. As a young man, and ultimately as an adult, he continued to work for many Revere Beach concessions and amusements. He retired as a shipper for the former Bob’s Discount and was a long time member of the Revere Lodge of Elks #1171.

He was the beloved husband of the late Celia P. (Rost-DeCelis) Sullivan who passed away in November of 2002; devoted father of Robert E. Sullivan Jr. of Everett, Charles E. Sullivan of Lynn, Michael J. Sullivan and his wife, Karen of Melrose and the late Richard J. Sullivan; the dear brother of Paul Sullivan and his wife, Madeline of New Bedford and the late Dorothy Vito and the cherished grandfather of Charles E. Jr, Eric M., Daniel J., and Toni-Marie.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere. A Graveside Service will be conducted at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 150 Lake St. Peabody, on Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. Attendees are asked to meet directly at the cemetery gate at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Diane Albano

Former employee of Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston

Diane M. (Galvin) Albano of East Boston passed away March 25.

A former employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston, she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Albano; cherished daughter of Annette (Ciasullo) Galvin of Revere and the late Francis “Yip” Galvin; loving mother of Andrea Hallahan and her husband, Timothy, Anthony and his wife, Kelly (Levine) Albano and Bianca Albano, all of East Boston and Antoinette Lefevre and her husband, Matthew of Chelsea; dear sister of Michael Galvin of Maryland and the late Thomas Galvin; adored grandmother of Alixandrea, Riley and Shane Hallahan and Emma Lefevre; fond aunt of Thomas Galvin of East Boston and many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Diane’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere today, Wednesday, at 9 a.m. before leaving in procession to St. Anthony’s Church for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10 a.m. For guest book and directions: www.vazzafunerals.com
