Chamber launches new, fully-loaded website

The Revere Chamber of Commerce has launched its new, state of the art website and it’s fully loaded. Full features will benefit members and Revere’s business community as a whole. Visit us at www.RevereChamber.org.

The Chamber’s new multimedia website, designed by Sound & Vision (SAV) Media on Squire Road in Revere, sports such features as the Media Gallery that plays helpful small business videos, the “Revere Highlights” video, slideshows of beautiful aerial photos of Revere Beach and fun pictures of community people enjoying Chamber events. There is a Member Benefits page that describes why businesses prioritize membership in the Revere Chamber. The History page depicts photos and major accomplishments of each Chamber president since the Chamber’s reorganization in 1979.

Visitors to www.RevereChamber.org can also view the Chamber’s brand new Twitter page. This exciting feature helps the Chamber globally deliver breaking and other news 24 hours a day every day of the week. You can start following Chamber “tweets” by going to our website or visiting our Twitter page directly at www.twitter.com/RevereChamber.

We also have a section devoted to Revere Information that includes details on the City’s school system, local government, public safety, healthcare and more. The news and events section showcases information and pictures of the Chamber’s latest events, like the Good Morning Revere Business Breakfast Speaker Series and Golf Tournament. It also introduces the Chamber’s new City Coupon Program. Member businesses are encouraged to sign up to have their own coupons displayed on this page.

“The Chamber’s site is fast growing and has already attracted 15 thousand visitors and it’s only been live for a few weeks,” said Bob Upton, chairman of the Chamber’s Website Committee. “We were listed on the top of most major search engines within two weeks of launching the site.

This is relatively unheard of,” Upton commented. “Through the combined efforts of the Chamber’s website committee and the talent at SAV Media, the Chamber has created a valuable resource for Revere, its residents and business community and for people across the globe who are interested in what Revere has to offer,” he said.

What does all of this mean for Chamber members? According to Upton and Roger Piffer, Web Development Director at SAV Media, www.RevereChamber.org is a significant benefit to Chamber members as it offers outstanding visibility for them and enhances their online presence. “In today’s world, most people go to the web to find what they are looking for. They use the web to research different businesses and choose products and services,” said Piffer. “The Chamber’s online Business Directory lists each member alphabetically in a searchable format and includes a direct link to each business’s own website address. I’m working with the Chamber to expand on the Business Directory to have members listed by category as well,” Piffer explained.

Additionally, visitors will immediately notice that advertisements on the Revere Chamber website have wider formats than other websites.

Advertising packages, design requirements and other information will be available online soon.

For now, businesses interested in advertising on www.RevereChamber.org should contact the Chamber’s Executive Director Laurie Leone at 781-289-8009 or email her at [email protected].

Upton assures that the new website is an evolving project that will be updated constantly.
