While many Millennials and GenZs are compiling playlists through popular sites like Spotify and Pandora, older generations remember the days of vinyl records and the amazing music associated with them. A local band is bringing back the music of the vinyl days singing some of the most classic songs as well as today’s hits.
Vinyl Echoes is a local Boston-based band that sings classic rock’n’roll, country, blues, and today’s top hits. From Rihanna to Neil Diamond to the Ronettes, Vinyl Echoes has something for all generations to be sure to get everyone up and dancing.
The group consists of John Barrett- Drummer, Mark Loud Lead Guitarist, Val Moscone, Female Vocalist, Chris McGonagle, Male Vocalist, Frank Tavano, Rhythm Guitarist and Paul “Rogo” Rogalski, base player.
According to Moscone, “It took three groups of musicians to finally come up with the current group. Commitment is the key to holding the band together. Without commitment we could not have moved from jamming in the garage to entertaining patrons in venues throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Our goal is to work harder at it and earn spots in bigger venues and most of all have fun.”
Vinyl Echoes has played at the ICC in Beverly, the Rocci Post in Beverly, The Carousel in Salisbury, Florian Hall in Dorchester, the International Sand Sculpting Festival, events on Revere Beach Boulevard, Sunday Night Concert Series at City Hall and the Grill House in Saugus.
