Pasquale Politano

Retired steam and building technology engineer

Pasquale Politano of Revere, entered into rest on July 11, 2024, at the age of 76.

Pat was born and raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School, Class of 1965. He also raised his family in Revere. Pat was a steam engineer and Building technology Engineer at the Prudential Center in Boston for over 25 years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He was an avid fisherman and spent a lot of time on his boat. Pat was a family man who liked to bring his family to the white mountains in New Hampshire from the children’s earliest years which continued on to recent times.

Pat served in the United States Army as a combat engineer, a fact of which he was extremely proud. Pat was happy to help out in the community, always using his talents to make everyone’s lives easier whether it was plowing in the winter, home repairs, boat repairs, you name it, he could fix it.

The beloved husband of the late Janet (Griffin) Politano, he was the devoted father of Patrick of Portland, OR, Stephen of Peabody and June Politano of Somerville; the loving brother of Joseph Politano of Natick and Elaine Politano and the late James Politano of Revere and the dear son of the late Joseph and Angelina Politano.

A memorial service for Pat will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Paul Buonfiglio and Sons Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere.

Phyllis Cassandri

John Hancock Insurance Company Retiree

Phyllis Cassandri, 89, a lifelong resident of Revere, passed away at home on July 10, 2024. Born on September 8, 1934, to Arduino Cassandri and Adeline (Muschietti), she is survived by her loving sister, Constance “Connie” Cassandri and her dear cousins, Elsie Laidley, John Stahl and Naomi Stahl, along with many other cherished cousins.  After many years, she retired from John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston. Phyllis’s legacy was honored and celebrated on Tuesday, July 16 at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere. Relatives and friends joined to commemorate Phyllis’s life and cherished the memories she has left us with.
