Takes Issue with Letter
Dear Editor,
A recent letter to you was captioned “Nobody is above the law”. I beg to differ. The writer was gloating over the conviction of Donald Trump. I can understand if you don’t like Trump. But if you’re not concerned about the current double standard in the justice system, you should be.
In a debate, just weeks before the 2020 election, Biden referenced a letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials and echoed their characterization of the laptop as Russian disinformation. Yet last week at Hunter Biden’s trial, the prosecutor showed a Silver MacBook 13 Pro to an FBI agent who identified it as Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Why the lies and the frantic coverup of the laptop? Because it allegedly contained damning evidence of Biden’s involvement in his son’s influence peddling schemes netting tens of millions of dollars from America’s adversaries. It’s evidence of Hunter’s selling access to Joe, promises of influence, essentially selling out the nation for financial profit, and making the Bidens very rich. They should have been charged with bribery, conspiracy, foreign corrupt practices. Only due to IRS whistle blowers do we know the DOJ scuttled the investigation to protect the Bidens. That’s called obstruction of justice.
You expect us to forget that this information was hidden from the American public, the country lied to, just before a presidential election. But, believe that Trump influenced the election, via a bookkeeping entry, because he hid a hush money payment over a consensual sexual encounter.
No one is above the law? Really?
