Students from the Revere Karate Academy recently participated in the Alliance Tournament, a family friendly open karate tournament for all ages and ranks held bi-annually in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The Alliance Tournament is a regional tournament held where martial artists from all over New England come to compete in Weapons, Forms, Self-Defense and Fighting.
Revere Karate Academy Owner and Instructor Anthony Cogliandro was proud of his students. “Revere Karate Academy is known across the world for its fighters and we stayed true to our competition status. What a great day for Revere Karate Academy! I am so, so proud of all of my students. Thank you to Lenny Demers and Jesse Dwire for another incredibly well-run Alliance Tournament. Big thank you to Coach Emma too!”

Bobbi Rose: 2nd place in Fighting
Kane LaPia: 2nd place in Fighting
Alberto Caruso: 1st place in Fighting
Mason Macaluso: 2nd place in Fighting
Amy García: 1st place in Fighting
Raffael DeCicco: 1st Place in Fighting
Michael Stevens: 3rd place in Fighting
Ivan García: 1st place in Fighting
Charleigh Novolesky: 3rd place in Forms and 1st place in fighting.
Anthony Cogliandro: 1st place in Fighting
Opened in 1980, by Doreen DiRienzo, the Academy specializes in American Kenpo Karate and Point fighting. Doreen’s son and co-owner, Anthony Cogliandro, has been part of martial arts since he was 2 years old.
