Thomas Cali, of Revere, formerly East Boston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15 at 88 years of age.
Thomas was a member of the Revere Elks, the Merritt Club, the Civic Club and many local community groups.
The devoted husband of the late Marilyn (Healey) Cali, he was the beloved father of Edward DiLorenzo of Revere, Cindy Larkin and her husband, Rober, of Reading, Jodi DiLorenzo of Revere, Cheryle Carson and her husband, Kenneth of Tennessee; dear brother of Frank Cali and his wife, Sheila of East Boston, Jeannette Redford and her husband, Bill of East Boston, Robert Cali and his wife, Elaine and the late Rocco Cali and his surviving, wife Gina, Benjamin Cali and his wife, Lorraine, Philip Cali and his wife, Phyllis, Katherine Stella and her husband, Jerry, Gloria Manning, Rose Rice and James Cali and his surviving wife, Alberta. He was the longtime companion of Deborah Morano, cherished grandfather of Mallorie, Robert, Marlisa, Bobby, Edward, Nicole and Jade; treasured great-grandfather of Tyler, Brantley and Jordan and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Thomas’s life by gathering at Sacred Heart Parish, East Boston on Wednesday, May 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. for a memorial visitation. Services will conclude with a Memorial Mass to be held in the Parish at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Thomas’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd, Waltham MA 02452.
