Loving and caring family man
Funeral services were held privately for Richard R. Page, Sr. who died on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Don Orione Home in East Boston following a long illness. He was 81 years old.
Richard was born and raised in the Eagle Hill section of East Boston. He was educated in Boston Public Schools and attended East School High School.
Richard began working in the construction industry, focusing on roofing. He worked on many of the buildings and properties in and around the City of Boston for many years and became an expert in his field. He later took a position at Textron and became an Engineering Technician, where he worked for approximately 15 years.
Richard and his wife married on March 19, 1966. They began their life together in East Boston where they raised their family and moved to Winthrop in 1996.
Richard was fondly known as a loving and caring family man. He especially enjoyed being a grandfather and cherished time surrounded by his grandchildren. He was also known for his passion for building models, especially model ships. His patient nature and the keen ability he
possessed made him a master at his craft.
The devoted husband of 52 years of Toni L. (Capolupo) Page of Winthrop, he was the loving father of Michelle A. Benrifi and her husband, Allal of Haverhill, Donna J. Page of
Winthrop, Richard R. Page, Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Lynn, Alicia J. Smith and her husband, Joshua of Chilmark, Martha’s Vineyard and the late Jonathan and Catherine Page. He was the adored grandfather of Alyssa, Zachary, U.U., Joshua, Richard, III, Anthony and
Olivia and the dear brother of Lawrence Page and his wife, Theresa of Carver and the late Frederick Page.

Louise DiBlasi
Quintessential lady with the social grace of a First Lady
Louise (Moschella) DiBlasi, a lifelong resident of Revere, passed away at the age of 96 on Oct. 3.
The beloved wife of 65 years to the late Maurice DiBlasi, she was the devoted mother of Marianne Ostrowski and her husband, Ronald of Townsend, Joyce DiBlasi and Maurine Fischer and her husband, Jerome, all of New Hampshire and Philip DiBlasi and his wife, Natasha of Bolton; dear sister of Carmine Moschella and his  late wife, Audrey of Saugus, the late Mary Viscarello, Ralph Moschella, Gloria Gosslin, Samuel Moschella and his surviving wife, Gail of Florida, loving grandmother of Kristen DiBlasi, Erik Ostrowski and his wife, Ann, Mark Ostrowski and his wife, Shayne, Matthew Fischer and his wife, Diana and the adoring great-grandmother of Max, Jackson, Delilah, James, Colby and Grayson Ostrowski. Louise and Maurice had a love that was legendary and everyone admired this beautiful couple who danced happily and gracefully through life.  She was the quintessential lady with the social grace of a First Lady. Anyone who visited her home could not escape without being treated to her homemade biscotti and coffee served in China cups. Louise’s unparalleled eggplant, of which many had the recipe but just could not seem to duplicate in essence, was always served in an immaculate home.
Our family loved her strength, dignity, devotion to her children, humor, beauty, and the beauty she brought to our lives.  Good job Mom.  We will always love and miss you.

Anthony ‘Mushy’ Moschella

“Mushy†Moschella of Revere passed away at the age of 84 on Oct. 6.
Anthony, better known as “Mushy,†worked for the City of Revere as a manager for the water department.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the nature and a US Army Veteran who loved his country and his family.
He was the beloved husband of Anna (Giacalone), devoted father of Anthony Moschella and his wife, Kathleen of Nahant, Sharon DelMastro and her husband, William of Melrose and Richard Moschella and his husband, James Kontnier of New York City; loving son of the late Alfonso and Concetta (D’Agenio) of Italy, dear brother of the late Mary Squibb,  Michael Moschella, Jean Rizzo, Rita Ferullo, Joseph Moschella, Rose Brown, Gerard Moschella and Louise Russo.  He was the grandfather of seven and also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Raffaele Penta
Of Revere
Raffaele Penta of Revere, formerly of Italy and the North End of Boston, passed away Oct. 6.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Carmela (Iannuzzo) Penta, devoted father of Mary Ann Pepe and her former husband, Joseph Pepe of Revere, Joseph “Joe†Penta and his wife, Virginia “Gigi†of Florida and Anthony Penta and his companion, Juliana of Peabody and formerly of Revere; cherished grandfather of six; dear brother of Felicetta Maffeo and her husband, Massimino of Italy and the late Pasquale Penta.  He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

William Mullen
Union meat cutter and retired house painter
Family and friends are invited to attend  visiting hours on Friday, Oct. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere for William G. Mullen, who passed at age 86 following a long illness at the Bedford Veterans Medical Center on Saturday, Oct. 6. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation in the funeral home at 7:15 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
An East Boston native and resident, Mr. Mullen was a 1949 graduate of East Boston High School. He joined the U.S. Army in September of 1952 and served until September of 1954 during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal.
His early working career was within the old Boston Meat & Food District as an expert meat cutter. He spent over 30 years in the Meat Market District, working for several distributors. He made a significant change in his final vocation and worked as a house painter, privately and for contractors. He retired at 75 years of age.
He was the beloved husband of the late Philomena E. (Paglucca) Mullen, who died on Jan. 19, 2017,  the devoted father to Joyce A. Hartman and her husband, Jonathan A. Hartman of Peabody and Revere, William G. Mullen, Jr. and his wife, Ann Marie of Middleborough and James W. Mullen of East Boston; the cherished grandfather to Taylor and Lisa Mullen, both of Middleborough and Samantha A. and Nicholas A. Hartman, both of Revere. William was the brother of the late Esther Mullen and Francis and Albert Mullen. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Gerald Spears
Auto mechanic and longtime Broadsound Tuna Club member

Spears, who died following a long and debilitating illness on Tuesday, Oct. 2Â Â at the Medford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was 66 years old. His Memorial Funeral Service will be held following the visitation in the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. Interment will be private.
“Jerry†lived most of his life in the Oak Island Section of Revere. He was a 1970 graduate of Revere High School. Early in his career, he worked Revere Beach as a clam digger and did exactly what he wanted to do and was most happy.
Always interested in automobiles, he attended auto mechanics school and for the remainder of his working career, he worked for several of the local auto garages and repair centers. He was a long-time member of Revere’s “Broadsound Tuna Clubâ€.
He was the beloved son of Ralph R. MacAllister, Sr. of Oak Island Revere and the late Denise E. (Botticelli) Spears-MacAllister, the dear brother to Darlene Best of Somerville, Muriel Spears of Provincetown, Beverly Dares and her husband, Al of Ossipee, NH, Timothy Spears and his wife, Diane of Davie, Florida, Denise E. MacAllister of Wakefield, Samuel R. MacAllister of Revere, Billy-Joe MacAllister of Chelmsford and the late Stephen Spears, E. Russell MacAllister, Ralph R. MacAllister, Jr. and Anthony P. MacAllister. He is also the loving father of Anthony, Marissa, Kara, Christopher, Kristen and Lisa and he also leaves nine grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
