We congratulate the Row Row Row in Revere planning committee for a very successful event that took place Saturday.
Row Row Row coordinator Stacey Livote, assistant principal at the Seacoast Academy, and her committee worked hard to bring back this popular canoe race that was a summertime staple in the 1970s and 1980s.
It’s not an easy event to plan as there are so many logistics that go in to it at multiple venues – such as the Port of Pines Yacht Club where they were so friendly and hospitable – and the Marina at the Wharf Restaurant where owner Victor Molle truly rolled out the red carpet for all the participants.
Most importantly, the event raised thousands of dollars that will help support families that have children affected by autism.
We’re so happy to see Row Row Row back on the summer calendar in this city and we hope it continues for years to come.
We thank the committee for a job well done.
