ROAD RAGE: CUTTING IN
Charges are being filed against two people in two jurisdictions for a road rage incident that began in Winthrop and migrated to Revere – with one Winthrop man displaying scissors as a threat at one point.
On Sunday, around 2:30 p.m., police were alerted that a road rage incident had occurred, but both victims.
The incident started in Winthrop and progressed to Revere – with one party showing a pair of scissors as a threat allegedly.
Both reported it to Revere and Winthrop police. Winthrop is charging both people and Revere has charged one man.
Stevenson Montellus, 29, of Winthrop, was charged with threatening to commit a crime and assault with a dangerous weapon.
FIREARMS STOLEN
A Revere man reported that two of his firearms in a storage unit were stolen recently.
On Thursday, July 20, the man reported to police that two of his stored firearms had been taken from the locked Public Storage facility on Ward Street. The matter is under investigation.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Two neighbors will try to work out their differences in court after police had to get involved in an argument that turned physical last Sunday.
The argument began when won tenant said the other tenant was smoking cigarettes and blowing the smoke into her apartment to aggravate her.
The two battled it out and now will work it out in court.
STOP LEADS TO ARREST
Revere Police arrested a Brighton man on Sunday morning after a routine traffic stop.
Around 9:30 a.m. at Mahoney Circle, police stopped the man for running a red light. He was found to also be violating other laws too.
Larry Chiles, 58, of Brighton, was charged with unlicensed operation, red-light violation, carrying an dangerous weapon, receiving stolen property over $250 and one warrant.
EXPENSIVE WATCH STOLEN
A Malden man is being charged with punching an acquaintance at a house party on the Boulevard and stealing his expensive watch.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, the victim reported to police that while leaving a house party on the Boulevard in the last few days, he had been confronted by another male who he knew.
The man punched him in the face and took his wristwatch that was valued at several thousand dollars.
Police are seeking charged against Hatim Zahidi, 35, of Malden, for assault and battery and larceny from a person.

Georgio M. Serrano, 24, of 44 Morris St., was arrested on charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness.
TUESDAY, JULY 18
Christopher E. Kenney, 20, of 50 Fernwood Ave., was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a knife in violation of the city ordinance, assault in a domestic situation, and assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
THURSDAY, JULY 20
Emerson Marrroquin-Ortega, 18, of East Boston, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infraction of a lights violation.
FRIDAY, JULY 21
Bryan P. Rocci, 33, of Everett was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Peter J. Fagone, 51, of 418 Revere Beach Parkway, was arrested on a charge of illegal possession of a Class B controlled narcotic substance (subsequent offense).
Jessica Joyce Bishop, 36, of Methuen, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
SATURDAY, JULY 22
Victor M. Ruiz, 39, of Chelsea, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended.
Jacob L. Blumenthal, 30, of Deering, N.H., was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
A 17 year old juvenile was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property with a value greater than $250.
Edgar Andres Arenas, 36, of Somerville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
SUNDAY, JULY 23
Kenneth Schultz, 44, of East Boston, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on a charge of assault & battery in a domestic situation.
William R. Harris, 30, of 92 Proctor Ave., was arrested on charges of strangulation, assault & battery in a domestic situation, and intimidation of a witness.
