The BEACHMONT VFW/AUX Post 6712 plans to Honor our Purple Heart Recipients with a free dinner on Sunday August 7th at 3-7 pm.
We ask support for our veteran community. We are Looking for Purple Heart Medal Recipients in our community; Revere, East Boston, Winthrop, Chelsea and Lynn. The US government did not keep a list of names. Please contact the VFW with your Purple Heart name and PH information.
Our desire is to fill the VFW Hall with Purple Heart Recipients for free. How? Working together with Community Support. Please Sponsor a recipient’s dinner at $20 each or table of 8 for $160. A Sponsor pays for a dinner for a veteran but the sponsor does not attend. If you would like to attend purchase tickets at the Beachmont VFW.
Proceeds raised from this event shall be donated to the Mass. Military Order of the Purple Heart. The Beachmont VFW Post 6712 is honored to have The Winthrop American Legion Post 146 Color guards to proudly introduce our new Purple Heart Flag and the of 50th Year Commemoration Vietnam War Veterans Flag along with Our USA Colors at The Purple Heart Dinner. The VFW POST 6712 is Proud to be located in a recognized Purple Heart City. We ask our community to Please stand by our veterans and assist making this event successful.
