“Get your motor running. Head out on the highway…” that’s the tune that will stick in your brain after a visit to Motorcycles of Manchester newest location on Broadway, known as M.O.M. Boston.

Joel Wheeler, owner of three M.O.M. (Motorcycles of Manchester) locations in Manchester, N.H., and Foxboro has made a major investment into the 13,000 square foot Revere location.

“We like to think we added to the neighborhood,” said General Manager Dennis Adams, noting that Wheeler purchased the old Waugh’s Garage at 184 Broadway over a year ago and renovated it into a gorgeous shop filled with amazing machines.

Wheeler started the M.O.M. business in 1973 with his first location in Manchester, N.H.

“The (Waugh) family has come in to visit,” Adams said. The Waugh Garage was a fixture on Broadway for over 50 years.

M.O.M. features Polaris products and Polaris brands such as Indian, Victory, and Slingshot. Indian has been around since 1901, but Polaris purchased the company and reintroduced the motorcycles in 2014.

M.O.M. carries a vehicle for just about anyone. There are snowmobiles for kids big and small by Polaris, utility vehicles for those who like to rough it, three-wheeled vehicles, known as Slingshots, for those who like to turn heads and a slew of motorcycles with classic, vintage looks and modern cruisers.

“The Slingshot is an exhilarating experience, that’s for sure,” Adams said. With prices between $21,000 and $27,000 it’s a three-wheeled vehicle that draws attention in either red or black. “It even has a back-up camera and Bluetooth.”

Not in the market for a “new” bike? M.O.M. also offers hundreds of used motorcycles for sale. If you just want to try one out there is also a rental program.

“First time riders can get on a new motorcycle for under $9,000 with models like the Indian Scout or the Victory Gunner,” Adams said. “Victory and Indian motorcycles are built in the United States.”

Adams said they are ready to go for spring riding, and looking forward to helping people find their perfect ride to New Hampshire, the Cape, Sturgis and beyond.
