Jody L. (Casiello) Carregal, 39, beloved wife of Marc Caregal, died peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Mass General Hospital in Boston while in the comforting presence of her husband, following an extended illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Anthony and Charlotte (Cuoco) Casiello of Peabody. She grew up in Revere and graduated from Revere High School in 1994. She completed undergraduate work at Salem State College, and in 2004 completed her Masters degree from Salem State College in Education.
Mrs. Carregal was an elementary school teacher at the Joshua Eaton Elementary School, and had served as Assistant Principal.
Jody was passionate about children and their education. She served on numerous education committees with the Reading School Department and in Peabody schools. She won several awards, two Teacher Tribute Awards with the Town of Reading Education Foundation for her work with her students.
She is survived by her husband, Marc Carregal of Peabody, with whom she shared 13 years of marriage; two children, Michael age 9 and Victoria age 6 of Peabody; her parents Anthony & Charlotte Casiello of Peabody; her grandmother Gloria Cuoco of Peabody; her extended family, daughter-in-law of the late Alfred Carregal and his wife Caroline, and daughter-in-law of Camille Carregal of Malden; she was sister-in-law of Justine & Gary Fialkosky of Newton, Matthew Carregal and Alex Carregal both of Malden; aunt of Sophia & Jillian Fialkosky of Newton, sister Chanel Casiello,and brother Allan Spencer, both of Peabody.
Funeral arrangements were by Conway-Cohill Brodeur. The burial was at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

Paul Orcione
Stone & Webster retiree; winner of ice skating competitions in his youth
Paul A. Orcione of Ipswich, formerly of Revere and Gloucester, died unexpectedly at his home on January 19. He was 82 years old.
Born in Chelsea, he was raised and educated in Revere and moved to Gloucester in 1965. Paul served as a heavy weapons infantry-man with the U.S. ARMY as part of Co. B. and a member of the 164th Infantry. He served from April of 1953 to April of 1955 and was a Korean Conflict veteran.
As a young man, Paul developed an interest in ice-skatting and thought to pursue the sport as a career. He was acclaimed to be most adept at the sport and won several local competitions. Most of his working career was within plastics manufacturing. For many years he worked for the former Webster Industries of Chelsea as a supervisor in the shipping department.
He was the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Morganto) Orcione; the beloved brother of Donald Orcione of Gloucester and the late Frank, William P. and Americo “Mickey†Orcione, Eda A. “Chickie†Giovanni-DiGiovanni, Eva D’Alessandro and Mary Dennis. Paul was the devoted friend of the late Barney and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Patrick Northcott
Retired partner in L & N Jewelers
Patrick J. Northcott of Revere died on January 17 after a long illness.
He retired last year as a partner in L & N Jewelers in Boston’s Jewelers Building.
He was the beloved son of the late Patrick and Theresa (Scotti), the dear brother of Michael Northcott and his wife, Karen of Medway, Cheryl Graham of Revere and Steven Northcott and his wife, Elizabeth of Illinois and the loving uncle of Kelly and Jennifer. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Victor Greco
Retired Precision meat cuter
Victor R. Greco of Revere, formerly of the North End of Boston, passed away peacefully on January 15 after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old.
Victor was a former precision meat cutter at the original Jack Noe and Son in Faneuil Hall Marketplace where he worked for 20 years and subsequently the meat supervisor at the Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus and Braintree.
He was the devoted husband of Judith (Masciulli) Greco of Revere; beloved father of Victor Greco, Jodi Greco and her husband, Tom Russo of Revere, and Joseph Greco and his wife, Susan of Saugus; cherished and adored grandfather of Catherine Rose Greco and Thomas Joseph Russo of Revere and Joseph and Alana Greco of Saugus. We respectfully acknowledge and lovingly recognize that Victor was previously married to Phyllis (Olimpio) Greco of the North End. Victor was the brother of MaryLou Pagliarulo and her
husband, Frederick, Anthony Miralgia, Philip Greco, and Catherine Benjamin and her husband, William and was predeceased by his brother, Edward Greco, all of the North End. Rose ‘Babe’ Giangregorio
Retired secretary; longtime member of Winthrop Ladies Lodge Sons of Italy, Winthrop Senior Center and literary organizations
Rose M. “Babe†(LaRaia) Giangregorio, an East Boston native and a long time Winthrop resident,  died unexpectedly on January 20 at Mass. General Hospital, Boston. She was 87 years young.
Born and raised in East Boston, she attended Boston Schools and was a graduate of Girls High of Boston, Class of 1945. As a young girl, she worked for the Commonwealth of Mass. at the State House as a secretarial aide. For 35 years, she was Executive Secretary to the Business Agent of Bethlehem Steel, Local 25.
“Babe†was always energetic to the max and enjoyed every facet of life. She married her long-time sweetheart, Lawrence Giangregorio in 1950 and nourished him until he died on March 1, 1985, suffering from a long tenure with cancer. She was a many year member of the Winthrop Lodge of Sons of Italy, (Ladies Chapter), and was active in many of their charity events and social events. Never idle, she was also a long-time member of the Winthrop Senior Center (Robert A. DeLeo Senior Center) and a vibrant member of their Italian Club and Zumba Club. And, in addition to all, she was a member of the Waterfront Crew Poets of Winthrop, a chapter of the Mass. State Poetry Society, Inc. She joined with her son, Alan, a membership in the Dicken’s Fellowship – Boston Branch.
She and her husband moved from East Boston to Winthrop in August of 1967. “Babe†was a very proud Winthrop resident, but never lost her love and passion for the East Boston, that she knew.
She was the devoted mother of Alan L. Giangregorio and his wife, Denise of Winthrop and Lawrence P. Giangregorio and his wife, Irene of Melrose; the cherished grandmother of Adam A. Giangregorio of Jamaica Plain, Luke N. Giangregorio of Winthrop, Paul J. Giangregorio of Melrose and Alyssa R. Giangregorio of Beverly;Â the dear sister of Isabelle C. Gardiner of Brookline and the adored aunt of Leslie F. Ciampi and her husband, Peter and their family of Lexington.

Shirley O’Donnell
Retired Revere Elementary School teacher
Shirley A. (Terminiello) O’Donnell, a lifelong resident of Revere, passed most unexpectedly on January 21 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital. She was 80 years old.
 Born, raised and educated in Revere, she was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1953 and an alumna of Salem State College, Class of 1957. Shirley taught for over 38 years within the elementary level for the City of Revere, spending most of her career between the Lincoln and Whelan Schools. A long-time resident of Point of Pines, she was a co-founder of the “Pines sand-lot for baseball.†She was a member of the Retired Revere School Teachers Association, the Mass. State Teachers’ Association and the Salem State College Alumni.
 She and her beloved husband of 57 years, James F. O’Donnell, Sr. enjoyed a passion for “Disney†and have made 97 trips to and from. Shirley’s first love, after her family, was anything “Mickey Mouse,†and her home decor certainly asserts that fact. Her children, and grandchildren, will long cherish the joy that those trips have brought to them.
In addition to her loving husband, James F. O’ Donnell, Sr., she leaves three children. She was the cherished mother of Kathleen A. Callahan and her husband, Michael of Marblehead, James J. O’Donnell, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen and Brian J. O’Donnell, all of Revere; the adored grandmother to Meaghan K. DeSoto and her husband, Jonathan of Marblehead, Michael K. Callahan, Jr. and his wife, Johanna of Danvers, Taylor K. Callahan of So. Boston, Garrett C. Callahan of Austin, Texas, James F. and Kathryn M. O’Donnell, both of Revere. With tenderness and over we remember Shirley’s great-granddaughter, Sarah K. DeSoto. She was the dear sister to the late Marilyn C. Sordillo and Victor “Muzzy†Terminiello and the daughter of the late Victor C. and Catherine “Kitty†(Aufiero) Terminiello.

Irene (Cella) Chiccarelli of Peabody, formerly of East Boston, died on January 22.
Irene enjoyed traveling, reading and above all spending time with her family and her East Boston neighbors and friends Lillian, Frannie and Terry.
She was the beloved wife of the late F. Vincent Chiccarelli; devoted mother of Joseph A. Chiccarelli of California and William P. Chiccarelli and his wife, Kelly of Lynnfield; dear sister of Phyllis Cella and the late Angelo “Buddy†Cella, Richard Cella II and his surviving wife, Nancy Cella of Peabody; cherished grandmother of Kara Irene Chiccarelli, William V. Chiccarelli and Caitlin Clarizia. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

William Swartz
Retired heavy equipment operator
William C. Swartz of Saugus passed at his Saugus residence on January 22. He was 74 years old.
Born and raised in Boston’s Dorchester section, he attended schools in the Boston area. He entered the US Army in November of 1958 serving until January of 1962, during the beginning of the Viet-Nam Era. Most of his working career, was as a heavy equipment operator, up to and including the time of the “BIG DIGâ€. He has been a Saugus resident for 20 years and was a member of the Quincy Knights of Columbus and the Malden Moose.
He was the devoted father of Michelle L. Cardinale and her husband, Craig of Saugus, Lisa M. Settipane and her husband, Richard Settipane Jr. of North Reading and Joseph “Joey†James of North Reading; the cherished grandfather of Louis, Nicholas and Ava Cardinale, all of Saugus and Paolo, Richard and Lorenzo Settipane, all of North Reading; the dear brother of Steven and Mildred Swartz and the late Helena Prisco. He is also lovingly survived by his former wife, Shirley R. (Capizzi) Anderson of Revere and by several nieces and nephews.
