We knew that the Revere High School football team was having a special season and it’s now been confirmed by their outstanding performance on the football field.
The RHS Patriots, under the leadership of head coach Lou Cicatelli and his staff of coaches, earned their seventh victory of the season Friday night, matching their best record in more than three decades.
And coach Cicatelli and his team are not done yet. They can make it a truly memorable season by capping it off with a victory over Winthrop on Thanksgiving.
Coupled with the brand new football stadium that been a big hit with players, coaches, and spectators alike, the Revere football program is enjoying a resurgence and the future looks exceedingly bright.
Add in a new and innovative athletic director in Frank Shea, who has been a successful and winning coach and mentor at Savio Prep and Masconomet Regional, and what you have is not only one of the best school systems in the state but an athletic program that’s on the brink of reaching new heights as well.
We congratulate Revere football and homegrown product Lou Cicatelli and wish the team good luck in its Thanksgiving game versus Winthrop.
