Columbus Day Parade Plans are Going Well

The Columbus Day Parade promises to be outstanding this year with bands, youth groups, veteran’s groups, sheriff’s department, the US Air Force honor guard and more.

Organizer Debbie West said 170 tickets have been sold for the breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 11 and general fundraising is doing well. There are 400 total seats. Officials hope to raise $25,000 and they have seen some large sponsorships, such as East Boston Savings Bank, which gave $5,000 to pay for the Shriners.

The Columbus Day Parade will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 beginning at 1 P.M.  The fundraising breakfast to support the parade will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 @ 9;00 A.M. at Revere High School cafeteria. Tickets for the breakfast are $25.00 per person or $250 for a table of ten.
