The host community public hearing for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) at Revere High School (RHS) scheduled for this coming Monday, April 7, has been cancelled.
No explanation was given for the cancellation, but officials from Mohegan Sun indicated there was a tentative date set to reconvene the hearing at RHS on May 6.
A spokesperson for the MGC confirmed the hearing has been cancelled, but said no official date has been set.
The hearing was to be the only MGC casino hearing for Mohegan Sun in the City of Revere, and was to be held in the auditorium of RHS.
Similarly, a hearing for the Everett Wynn project set for April 8 has also been abruptly cancelled.
