Revere voters may have been lulled into thinking that 2013 is just being another year. There is no Mayor’s race and there was not a primary election on September 17. All attention seems to be focused on the Columbus Day Parade after several years of it having been suspended because of fiscal concerns and disinterest by residents.
However, there will be an election for City Council and School Committee on November 5. Also, the vote on the casino will be on the same ballot.
We urge all voters to start listening to the various candidates who are running for office, especially their positions on quality of life issues in Revere.
Every vote is important, so we urge every voter to take the time be informed about the issues and to ask the various candidates questions as they come out to meet you.
