We urge Senator Anthony Galluccio to immediately resign his position.
He cannot serve the people of Revere while in jail and more importantly, the people of Revere want a working senator to represent them.
In addition, if the senator has any hope for redemption, it lies in the belief that it is a far better thing for him to resign then to be thrown out of office by his senate colleagues – which is exactly what they will ultimately do when push comes to shove.
Senator Galluccio has been a great friend to many, many people.
Now it is time for him to be a friend to himself.
We urge him to resign.
It is the best thing he can do for himself and for the people of this city that he represents.
