As Mayor, the greater good the City of Revere and its constituents is my top priority, and it is especially important to have reliable colleagues who help me achieve this. Therefore, it is my privilege to ask for your support of my colleague and friend, Representative Jeffrey Turco in his re-election for the 19th Suffolk District. The City of Revere is a team, and Rep. Turco has steadily remained part of my team, fighting for what is best for our city, our home.
Throughout his service, Rep. Turco has been greatly successful in bringing home state funds for the City of Revere. For example, he has helped us move forward with one of the Revere’s largest recent undertakings, the redevelopment of the McKinley School, through a $100,000 earmark. Because of this funding, our new state of the art MNRECC 911 Call Center and Early Childhood Education Center are expected to be completed in the Fall of 2027. Additionally, Rep. Turco has advocated for youth employment in Revere through our YouthWorks Department, by helping us fund the opportunity for hundreds of teens and young adults to gain early work experience at Revere city departments and beyond. His work isn’t stopping there, either. Rep. Turco plays an essential role in fighting for Massport to properly compensate Revere as a municipality directly impacted by Logan Airport traffic.
We all know that when working with local government, communication is key. I am confident that Rep. Turco shares my prominent value in accessibility to his office as a resource for constituents and colleagues alike. His honesty, kindness and true care in service are clear factors that have earned him local reputability and the support of every elected official in Revere. I kindly ask Revere to continue to support Representative Jeffrey Turco with your vote on September 1. Your vote isn’t just for him, but for our team, our livelihood, and the positive progress we can make in Revere.
