Joseph James “Joey” Cuoco, Sr., 81, of Tewksbury, a former long-time resident of Revere, passed away on November 12, 2025.
Joey was born on February 23, 1944, in Cambridge, the beloved son of the late John and Rosalie (Tortora) Cuoco. Raised and educated in Cambridge as part of a close-knit Italian family, Joey graduated from Cambridge Rindge Technical High School, where he built lifelong friendships and learned the value of hard work.
A devoted father, Joey cherished every moment spent with his children and, later, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was the heart of Joey’s life, and his presence at every gathering brought laughter and joy.
Joey had a natural talent for real estate and spent much of his life investing in and managing properties. His keen eye for opportunity and sharp negotiating skills were matched only by his enthusiasm for every project he took on.
Known to many as the “life of the party,” Joey worked as a disc jockey for many years, a role that suited his vibrant personality perfectly. He was a gifted emcee who could light up any room, keep a crowd dancing, and bring people together through music. His passion for the latest hits and his effortless charm made him a true entertainer.
In his spare time, Joey enjoyed testing his luck at the casino and could always be found at the poker table. Trips to Las Vegas were a favorite pastime, where he enjoyed both the excitement of the games and the energy of the city. Above all, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren was his favorite thing to do.
Joey will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, his generous heart, and his unwavering love for family. He touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, and genuine zest for life.
Joey was the devoted father of the late Joseph J. Cuoco, Jr., Kimarie Falzano and Sheri Cuoco, all of Wilmington. He was the loving “Papa” of Kaila Keddie and her husband, Robert, Tyler Huebner and his wife, Tatiana, Scott Falzano, Jr., Sofia Cuoco, Olivia Cuoco, and Jalie Brennan and her husband, Cole; and proud “Papa” to his great-grandchildren Ava, Jaxon, Lorenzo, Tatum, and Eric. Joey was the dear brother of Teresa Sorrentino and her late husband, Peter, Elaine Tierney and her husband, James and John Cuoco and his wife, Kathy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as his former wife and his dear friend, Geraldine Szymanski.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Joey’s life at a Mass of Christian Burial today, Wednesday, November 19th at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington.

Denise Famolare
Former office manager for Pleasant Auto School
Denise (Frongillo) Famolare, 73, died on Friday, November 14th. She was the beloved wife of Patrick J. Famolare with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Revere, Mrs. Famolare was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Rital L. (LeBlanc) Frongillo. She was a former office manager for Pleasant Auto School. Denise enjoyed time spent wintering in Boca Raton, FL and loved going to Disney World and taking cruises.
In addition to her husband, Denise is survived by her three children:: Patrick J. Famolare, Jr. and his wife, Tracey of N. Reading, Justin Famolare and his wife, Angel of Revere and Darice Famolare and her partner. Matthew Marston of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Autumn, Briella and Riley; one sister, Darlene Anderson and her late husband, Ricky of Revere; two brothers, Drew Frongillo and his wife, Gail of Melrose and Douglas Frongillo of Rhode Island; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and a funeral will be held from the funeral home today, Wednesday, November 19 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere at 10 a.m. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Mary Albuzetian
January 9, 1927 — November 10, 2025
Mary M. (Alberta) Albuzetian, a lifelong resident of Revere, passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 10, 2025, at the age of 98. Born in Revere on January 9, 1927, she lived a long and faith-filled life devoted to her family, her church and her community.
Mary dedicated many years of her professional life as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Joseph DiPietro’s office in Revere, where her gentle nature, compassion, and kind words brought comfort to countless patients and colleagues. Her devotion to service extended well beyond her work. She served as Past President of the Ladies Sodality of St. Anthony’s Church and also the Revere League for Special Needs. She was a proud member of the Department of Mental Retardation’s Citizens Advisory Board, the Chatter Box Club of Boston, and Massachusetts Citizens for Life. In each role, she exemplified dedication, humility, and a sincere concern for others.
A woman of faith and endless strength, Mary lived each day with gratitude and purpose. She was an avid reader who enjoyed keeping up with current events and was rarely seen without her daily edition of The Boston Globe or the weekly Revere Journal. Her Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life and guided her in all she did.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Ara Albuzetian. She was the cherished mother of Kara Albuzetian of Revere and the devoted daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia (Ciambriello) Alberta of Revere. Mary is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Mary will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, steadfast faith, and lifelong commitment to helping others. Her legacy of service and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.

John Walsh Jr., affectionately known as “Johnny,” of Revere, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 9, 2025. He died at the age of 46 following a brave and lengthy struggle with congenital heart failure.
Born in Boston on November 27, 1978, Johnny was a lifelong resident of Revere. He was raised and educated here, attended elementary school and played youth hockey.
Johnny began his formal training in the electrical program at Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational Technical School, graduating in 1996. He furthered his education by enrolling in and successfully graduating from the prestigious IBEW National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry.
Johnny quickly established himself as an outstanding electrician who was deeply dedicated to his craft. He formerly worked for Local 103 before successfully establishing his own business,
Highly skilled and dependable, Johnny was often called upon by friends, family, and clients to troubleshoot, diagnose, and expertly fix any type of electrical problems.Known for his heart of gold, Johnny was a truly kind person who loved helping others whenever he could. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially loving to cheer on the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins.
Johnny was predeceased by his father, John Walsh Sr., a retired Captain of the Revere Fire Department. He is survived by his loving mother, Kathy Walsh of Saugus; his devoted sister, Katie, and her husband, Mike Mason of Peabody; his aunts Mary Lou Tracy of Charlestown, Kathleen Patterson and her husband, Chuck of Florida, and many caring cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Johnny’s life was held at Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Saturday, November 15.. Following the service, a collation was held at The American Legion, Post 61, 249 Broadway, Revere.In lieu of flowers, donations or expressions of sympathy can be made in Johnny’s name to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.

A man of integrity, dedication, and unwavering love whose life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and family
It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Reynold J. DiFilippo, 70, a lifelong resident of Revere, on November 12, 2025. A man of integrity, dedication, and unwavering love; everyone knew him as Rennie. He possessed a rare blend of love for life, kindness, and a relentless work ethic. He was a Master Electrician for Amtrak for 20 years, where he honed his skills and laid the foundation for a successful future.
In addition, Rennie owned and operated his own business, Master Care Maintenance Property Services, for over 20 years. His relentless drive and dedication to his craft earned him respect and admiration from all who had the privilege to know and work with him.
Rennie’s achievements were not confined to his professional life. He was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life. If you asked him, Rennie’s most cherished moments were those spent visiting with his grandchildren in New Hampshire. His eyes would twinkle with joy as he shared stories of his adventures with them.
He was the beloved son of Robert J. and Anna DiFilippo (Varricchio). He also leaves his sons Rennie DiFilippo and wife, Jen, and Adam DiFilippo and wife, Brandie; eight cherished grandchildren: Aydin, Gabriella, Cameron, Averi, Hailey, Peyton, Sebastian, and Kaiden:. sister Dianne Pesaturo and her husband, Bob; his brother, Robby DiFilippo and wife, Annette; nieces: Jayne and partner, Frank, Taryn Knauf and husband, Andrew, and nephews: Bobby, Kyle and partner, Maggie. He is also survived by his long-term partner of 27 years, Paula MacDonald, along with her extended family. And his faithful cat, Max, who was a source of comfort and companionship.
Rennie’s life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and family. He lived with purpose, loved with all his heart, and left an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life and the beautiful memories he left behind. He will be dearly missed.
A funeral for Rennie will be held at Still Waters Church, 197 Lynnway, Point of Pines, Revere on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 12 noon.
