POSSIBLE FATAL OD

Revere Police and the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating what appears to be a fatal drug overdose on Blake Street.

Around 4:40 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, police were called to the residence for a sudden death.

The matter is under investigation.

 

PUNCHED ELDERLY WOMAN

A Lynn man has been arrested after he allegedly punched a 70-year-old woman in the face after a car accident at Butler Circle.

Around 9:30 p.m. on June 7, the woman was stopped at the stoplight at the Wonderland Marketplace when she was hit in the back by a motorist.

The suspect pulled into the parking lot with the woman and became belligerent, not wanting to exchange information. The woman began to feel uneasy and went to get into her car. As she did, the suspect struck her in the left side of the face.

She fell into the driver’s seat and the man fled the scene.

The victim phoned police and a search was on.  He was located getting out of his vehicle at his home in Lynn. There was only minor damage to the vehicles and the victim did not require extended medical aid.

Jonathan Eric Calderon, 27, of Lynn, was charged with assault and battery on a person over 60.

 

ARRESTED IN WHELAN  LOT

A Weymouth man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, June 6, when he pulled into  the Parking lot of the Whelan School and struck another vehicle, then nodded off behind the wheel.

Around 1:15 p.m., police were alerted that the man had struck another vehicle in the lot and then seemed to be asleep. At one point, the man woke up and tried to drive off, but was convinced not to leave by witnesses.

After an investigation, police determined he was impaired.

David Dellabarba, 38, of Weymouth, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, operating negligently to endanger and leaving the scene of an accident.

 

RHS STUDENT ARRESTED WITH POT

A Revere High student was arrested on Monday, June 5, after he was found to be in possession of marijuana at school.

Around noon, police were called to the school for an incident. The student had been discovered with marijuana that appeared to be for distribution.

Victor Uribe Londono, 18, of 88 Ward St., was charged with possession of a Class D  drug with intent to distribute and selling drugs in a school zone.

Hochy Lora, 29, of 24 Sumner St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Haley Graef, 19, of 6 Dolphin Ave., was arrested on charges of assault & battery in a domestic situation, resisting arrest, and being rude & disorderly in violation of the city ordinance.

Victor Uribe Londono, 18, of 88 Ward St., was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a Class D controlled narcotic substance with intent to distribute and violating the drug-free school zone law.

A 13 year old juvenile and a 14 year old juvenile were arrested on charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon, assault & battery, and causing a disturbance in a school.

Hugo D. Gomez, 32, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Edward M. Lynch, 65, of 163 Washington Ave., was arrested on a charge of violating a domestic abuse prevention restraining order pursuant to c. 209A.

 

TUESDAY, JUNE 6

David Dellabarba, 38, of Weymouth, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, operation of a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, and leaving the scene of an accident after causing property damage.

Joseph Ciulla, 41, of East Boston, was arrested on two outstanding warrants.

 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7

Mark A. Brooks-Carranza, 27, of 325 Beach St., was arrested on three counts of distribution of a Class B controlled narcotic substance (subsequent offenses) and illegal possession of a Class B controlled narcotic substance with intent to distribute (subseq. offense).

Marouane Ziouani, 28, of 90-92 Crest Ave., was arrested on charges of six counts of distribution of a Class B controlled narcotic substance, trafficking in cocaine, illegal possession of a Class E controlled narcotic substance, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

A 16 year old juvenile was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

Abdelkrim Bellakhdar, 55, of 45 Harris St., was arrested on charges of assault & battery in a domestic situation, strangulation, and intimidation of a witness.

Jonathan Eric Calderon, 27, of Lynn, was arrested on a charge of assault & battery upon a person 60 years of age or older.

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 8

Ariel O. Velasquez, 24, of 52 Abruzzi St., was arrested on two outstanding warrants and on charges of four counts of distribution of a Class B controlled narcotic substance.

Luis M. Ruiz, 49, of 26 Thornton St., was arrested on charges of five counts of distribution of a Class B controlled narcotic substance and trafficking in cocaine.

Ellen Sullivan, 48, of 304 American Legion Highway, was arrested on a charge of violating a domestic abuse prevention restraining order pursuant to c. 209A.

 

FRIDAY, JUNE 9

Hervyn Montoya, 34, of 15 Keayne St., was arrested on charges of assault & battery in a domestic situation and intimidation of  witness.

Jose M. Alicea, 31, of 391 Mountain Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Carlos A. Vasquez, 18, of 16 Dana St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

James Lopez, 29, of 1510 North Shore Rd., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Christopher J. Mastropietro, 25, of 48 Gage Ave., was arrested on a charge of assault & battery in a domestic situation.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 10

Jose M. Santa, 35, of 15 Wave Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Abdenbi Elfarkh, 51, of 41 Highland St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Sarah K. Rabbitt, 33, of Boston, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 11

Juan Miguel Flores-Rodriguez, 31, of 101 Florence Ave., was arrested on a  charge of assault & battery in a domestic situation.

Shannon O’Donnell, 32, of Charlestown, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

Dantonio D. Thornton, 37, of Malden, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
