Police Briefs 09-21-2016

MONDAY,

SEPTEMBER 12

Luis Adolfo Torres, 21, of Lynn, was arrested on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Maritza Iglesia, 44, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and the common law crime of interfering with a police officer in the performance of his duty.

Brian Paniagua, 22, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of trafficking in heroin, eight counts of conspiracy to violate the drug laws, six counts of illegal distribution of  Class A controlled narcotic substance, and violating the drug free school zone law.

Elvis V. Felix, 32, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of conspiracy to violate the drug laws and illegal distribution of a Class A controlled narcotic substance, subsequent offense.

Luis A. Mercedes Jr., 23, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of trafficking in heroin, nine counts of conspiracy to violate the drug laws, and eight counts of illegal distribution of  a Class A controlled narcotic substance.

A 17 year old juvenile was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault & battery.

A 16 year old juvenile was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, trespassing, and assault & battery upon a police officer.

Nicholas G. Turco, 22, of 30 North St., was arrested on charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle,  resisting arrest, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Devin J. Torres, 25, of 34 Dana St., was arrested on charges of violating a domestic abuse prevention restraining order pursuant to c. 209A and breaking & entering into a motor vehicle with intent to commit a misdemeanor.

TUESDAY,

SEPTEMBER 13

Richard W. Cookson Jr., 42, of 190 North Shore Rd., was arrested on a charge of violating a domestic abuse prevention restraining order pursuant to c. 209A.

Nelson Nunes Faria, 39, of Malden, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for a police officer. He also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infractions of having an open container of an alcoholic beverage while operating a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

Fabian J. Thompson, 57, of 146 Newman St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

WEDNESDAY,

SEPTEMBER 14

Richard W. Cookson Jr., 42, of Winthrop,  was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Steven A. Lombard Jr., 30, of Salem, was issued a summons for a charge of assault & battery.

THURSDAY,

SEPTEMBER 15

Richard D. Zelandi, 55, of 418 Revere Beach Parkay, was issued a summons for a charge of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.

Elizabeth N. Nwaoha, 28, of Lynn,  was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after her right cooperate had been suspended.

Kristina Marie Elliot, 28, of East Boston, was arrested on a charge of malicious destruction of property under $250.

FRIDAY,

SEPTEMBER 16

Mark John Tassinari, 31, of 30 Franklin St., was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

Rebecca Croft, 42, of East Boston, was issued a summons for a charge of shoplifting.

Juan J. Sanchez-Bernal, 21, of Chelsea, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

Christian Nicolae, 34, of 134 Stevens St., was issued a summons for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

SATURDAY,

SEPTEMBER 17

Eli Vigil, 24, of 62 Neponset St., was arrested on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infractions of failing to stop for a traffic control sign and a marked lanes violation.

Gino S. Golisano, 20, of East Boston, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended, disorderly conduct, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and making a threat to commit a crime. He also was cited for obstructing an emergency vehicle.

Frederick M. Torres, 43, of Winthrop, was issued a summons for charges of leaving the scene of an accident after causing property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Giraldo S. Mejia, 30, of 50 Clark Rd., was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on charges of shoplifting and illegal possession of a Class B controlled narcotic substance.

Joseph C. Curto, 24, of 29 Reservoir Ave., was issued a summons for a charge of vandalizing an abandoned motor vehicle.

Ismael Hernandez, 46, of 146 Shirley Ave., was issued a summons for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infraction of failing to stop for a traffic control sign.

Daniel Rivera, 33, of Allston, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and using a motor vehicle without authority. He also was cited for improper operation of a motor vehicle.

SUNDAY,

SEPTEMBER 18

Carlos Pagvada-Ayala, 54, of Chelsea, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Steven J. Flynn, 51, of 23 Floyd St., was arrested on charges of open & gross lewdness (subsequent offense), wanton, lewd, and lascivious conduct, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct.

Jonathan Lee Hamilton, 46, of Lynn, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
