ARREST Report

MONDAY, AUGUST 1

Ahmad Hussein Selman, 56, of 17 Kingman Ave., was arrested on a charge of assault & battery.

Mario L. Amado, 27, of Lynn was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.

Sherri L. Mariano, 45, of 925 Revere Beach Parkway, was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 2

Wade Bererhout, 31, of Danvers, was issued a summons for charges of assault & battery and making a threat to commit a crime.

Jose Ortiz-Rosado, 39, of 631 Washington Ave., was arrested on a charge of assault & battery.

A 17 year old juvenile was issued a summons for a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Holly G. Simonds, 44, of Brookline, was issued a summons for a charge of assault & battery.

Harold L. Williams, 60, of Boston, was issued a summons for a charge of trespassing.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3

Robert A. Ellington, 38, of Chelsea, was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

Gina M. DiMarco, 26, of 7 Carmen Lane, was issued a summons for a charge of shoplifting.

Andrea French, 43, of 141 Constitution Ave., was arrested on charges of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infraction of having an open container of an alcoholic beverage.

Luis A. Pedraza, 33, of Quincy, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 4

John A. Cataldo, 51, of Middleboro, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on charges of operating a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended and resisting arrest.

Elizete A. Barbosa, 58, of Malden, was issued a summons for a charge of shoplifting.

Erik C. Stevens, 24, of 190 Campbell Ave., was arrested on a charge of assault & battery.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 5

Christopher J. Barbarisi, 22, of 30 Broadsound Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on a charge of resisting arrest.

A 17 year old juvenile was arrested on a charge of operation of a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended (subsequent offense).

Bill Antonio Moreta, 40, of 161 Proctor Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on a charge of trafficking in cocaine.

Justin Derek Hall, 36, of 418 Revere Beach Parkway, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 6

Vanessa Fortin, 23, of Fitchburg, was issued a summons on charges of two counts of assault & battery.

Nancy M. McNelley, 50, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Marquis J. Knight, 24, of 557 Beach St., was issued a summons on a charge of assault & battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

Elsa M. Vasquerano, 42, of 160 Constitution Ave., was issued a summons on a charge of allowing the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle by another.

Cesar Morales, 25, of 106 Constitution Ave., was issued a summons on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for the civil motor vehicle infractions of making an improper turn and making a U-turn where prohibited.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 7

John Geezil, 38, of 71 Revere Beach Blvd., was arrested on a charge of assault & battery.

Patrick A. Jordan, 48, of 141 Constitution Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

David A. Veglia, 60, of 102 Eliot Rd., was arrested on charges of assault & battery, assault by means of a dangerous weapon, and making a threat to commit a crime.

Leonela Arias, 30, of Dorchester, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and wanton destruction of property over $250.

WELCOME THE CIRCLE

A Dorchester woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after she blew through Brown Circle coming from Lynn and destroyed the ‘Welcome to Revere’ sign on Sunday.

The driver was coming southbound on Lynn Marsh Road when she apparently did not see the circle and continued straight on into the middle of it, coming to rest on the other side after smashing the welcome sign.

After an investigation, she was believed to be intoxicated.

Leonela Arias, 30, of Dorchester, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and wanton destruction of property over $250.

LISTEN TO YOUR FATHER

One 17-year-old youth has found himself in trouble after, against his father’s commands, began messing with the shifting mechanism on the family car and mistakenly rammed it into the Laundromat.

Around 5:21 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, the family was at the Laundromat on VFW Parkway when the son began messing with the gear shift on the car. The father told him to stop playing around with it, but the young man apparently didn’t listen. He continued messing with it and thought he had put it in park, but it was in drive.

The car accelerated into the building and crashed, damaging the building and the car.

The young man was cited and was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

THREATS AT THE BANK

A man who became enraged at the East Boston Savings Bank on Squire Road was taken in by authorities on the BEST Mental health team who had been worried about the man and looking for him.

The BEST team reaches out to individuals who have contacted them or were referred to them in order to meet mental health challenges head on before problems crop up.

The team had  apparently been looking to locate the man and talk with him.

Around 11 a.m. on Saturday, bank employees reported that the man was in the bank and had become enraged. He made threats and disparaging statements to employees.

When police arrived, the BEST team was advised and the man was taken in for care.

SMASHED INTO CARS

A Constitution Avenue woman was summonsed to court on Weds., Aug. 3, after a one-car crash that sent her to the hospital.

Around 4 p.m. on Aug. 4, the woman reportedly smashed into a parked car on Constitution Avenue. There was heavy damage to both cars and police determined that the woman was allegedly intoxicated.

She was not arrested, however, as she had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital for injuries to her face.

She was summonsed later to Chelsea District Court.

Andrea French, 43, of 141 Constitution Ave., was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
