State House delegaryion deserves praise
To the Editor:
House Speaker Robert DeLeo, State Senator Anthony Petruccelli and State Representative RoseLee Vincent deserve praise for their amazing work throughout the FY 2017 State Budget.
Budget items that are dedicated specifically to Revere include: over $1.2 million for parks and playgrounds, upgrades to the Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center, repairs to municipal buildings damaged by last year’s tornado, and funding for the City’s first electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging stations.
We elected leaders in Revere – City and Legislative staff and officials – have a long track record of collegiality and collaboration, and this budget is proof of our collective efforts to move Revere forward.
We are fortunate to have such strong leaders and advocates for our community.
 Dan Rizzo,
Mayor of Revere
