The Columbus Day Planning Committee, made up of City Officials, members of the Revere Chamber of Commerce, as well as several other community stakeholders, has been meeting frequently since last year’s successful Columbus Day Parade and Breakfast.
They are happy to announce that this year’s fundraising breakfast will be held at the Revere High School Cafeteria on Sat., Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $25 each or $250 for a table of 10 and includes a full buffet breakfast. This is an alternating year for the actual parade itself, which will take place in Revere next year on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 12, 2015.
“I was so pleased with the return of the Columbus Day Parade last year and pledge to continue this tradition. The parade has always been a wonderful community event for people of all ages and last year was no exception. Please take this opportunity of getting involved by either participating in, or donating to, this worthwhile breakfast celebration,†said Mayor Dan Rizzo.
Speakers for the breakfast will include Mayor Rizzo, Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo, State Sen. Anthony Petruccelli, State Rep. RoseLee Vincent, and Chelsea City Manager Jay Ash. More speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
If you would like to get to purchase tickets, please call the Mayor’s Office at 781-286-8111 or email [email protected].
