Firefighter John Carroll, Fire Capt. Robert DiSalvo and Sr. Deputy Chief Mike Conley stand at attention last Friday morning during their final roll call as Fire Chief Gene Doherty and Mayor Dan Rizzo give them a good-hearted send off. A record crowd of fellow firefighters, retirees, family members and elected officials crowded into the Central Fire Station to pay homage to three of the more popular jakes in the Department.
