Administrators, teachers, and staff of Revere High School cordially invite parents or guardians and families of incoming freshman and transferred students to the Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, August 23, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Revere High School Auditorium.
The purpose of this orientation is to ensure that our incoming students and their families receive updated information concerning Revere High School’s Freshman Academy a) academic expectations; b) extracurricular opportunities; c) graduation requirements; and d) rules, procedures, and policies that could potentially affect your child’s education. On this day, parents and students will tour the building and become familiar with our existing services and facilities.
Transitioning from the middle school to the high school can be equally rewarding and challenging, as high schools embody their own values, assumptions, beliefs, and expectations. Attending freshman orientation is the first step for students to become acquainted with existing school resources, to make intelligent decisions, and to develop avenues to become successful. Thus, we strongly encourage our incoming freshman students’ parents to attend the event.
Please contact the school at (781) 286-8220 should have any questions or concerns regarding the upcoming orientation day.
