Two Revere police officers were recently honored for saving the life of a man trapped in a burning car on Brown Circle last April.
Officers Angel Lopez and Louis LaRosa put their lives on the line entering the burning vehicle and extricating the man about to be burnt to death in it.
They saved his life and so, they received Certificates of Merit from the City Council.
Obviously, they appreciated the certificates but they deserve much more than that.
A life was saved by the heroism of officers Lopez and LaRosa.
The Journal commends their heroic actions.
They are the real thing.
